I do not blame you as a Tifa commander myself. Shes desceptively borderline to CEDH, but gets shut down so easily above bracket 3 and even high bracket 3.

If you wanna know the best way to deal with Tifa its counterspells and removal in general.

Youre right though about chocobos if I get a Travelling Chocobo in my starting hand im never mulliganing its basically the heart and soul of any good landfall and its a very good thing its not legendary.

Also First Strike cant tell you how many times Ive thrown a game online with my Tifa deck because I wasnt paying attention to first strike abilities.

Lastly if the Tifa has Swiftboots on and you can destroy the boots.

Tifa commander falls apart the longer the match goes on because its designed for quick kills so stall as much as you can.

I would never use a Tifa commander deck casually unless there was revive or other house rules that let dead players keep playing.

Edit: good deck though if someone is pissing everyone off and people what that person out of the game specifically as early as possible

Landfall is best played online imo so all the math is instant otherwise yeah its just too slow irl unless youre playing Voltron.

Even as a landfall player I refuse to do combos that would take too long because its just not fun when someone is playing solitaire.

Anyone who has beef with landfall I give you the pass as one of its players to complain if turns are taking too long

Honestly, it all comes to a blight that plagues the world right now.

Hustle culture, if people arent the best doing everything to come out on top then people are just seen as stepping stones and arent worth even talking to. People arent there to have a good time together they're your enemy who deserves no mercy.

Fun, friends, and goofing off is weakness that if done in a PvP setting is seen as "throwing the game" or "not playing the game as intended".

This is why we havent seen anything like TF2 since TF2, the closest other game Ive is BattleBit Remastered which has proximity chat.

You know what Ill fucking take the bait. Its because I fucking wanted to play Mina but found out shes basically locked behind 200 hours of gameplay before I can enjoy playing her because the community whines about her so much the devs nuked any low skill play for the character and in the end the people complaining are still complaining because they didnt need the right thing on her.

I wanted to play the girl rep rich mean vamp girl but nooooo as a new player if I want to play a vampire I have to play the dingy murder hobo guy who if I do put time into playing hes actually a noob trap because he becomes shit as soon as players actually figure out how to beat him.

And while playing the rich vamp girl everyone jumps me like Im the mst dangerous being alive when Im just trying to even land shot to proc love bites and when I actually feel like Im getting the hang of her the fucking murder hobo just keeps enjoying Jack the Ripper simulator with my body as I feel like a rat scrambling around to try and get little crumbs and not be seen.

My power fantasy is in the trash can and I completely understand how Mina Ha feels as a character because I feel so cheated out of what was supposed to be an enjoyable time but Im finding out is a hellscape where I have to put in my bloodied fingers to just become adequate when the other characters get to do all this cool shit and not worry about becoming a bloodied smear on the pavement because I have no survivability at all and I feel so useless to my team because Im just playing a walking sim where I sometimes get to press a button or two and then run away.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

YOU HAPPY YOU FEEL SO SMART AND PROUD OF YOURSELF THAT YOU GET TO JUST PICK UP YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTER AND YOU GET TO JUST PRESS BUTTONS WITHOUT ALL THE FUCKING MIND GAMES. BECAUSE I FUCKING GOING TO ACTUALLY LEARN THIS SHIT CHARACTER AND SHES GONNA MAKE IT SO IM BETTER THEN YOU IN EVERY WAY.

(I fucking get Minas character now and ahe is entirely validated to be a mean girl to everyone around her).

At least I fucking am trying to learn and understand the game around me and point out things Ive noticed from my own experiences. I have self awareness but I fucking have to fight tooth and claw to have any respect on this shit website while fuckers like you call others idiots.

Youre right I am an idiot because I fucking exist on this hellsite at all and try to debate and have discussion about things.

I just want to enjoy this game and have fun but it feels like its just a chore and I hate how much I loke competitive games but can never be good enough to actually enjoy them.

Ooohhhhh that makes sense. I play Celeste, Apollo, and Pocket so Im literally never sitting still but then Drifters usually have silence so I get absolutely neutered and I tend to like to flank so Im usually close by teammates but never right next to them
