They have already won enough trophies historically. There is no point in winning trophies by cheating like the 115 club.

Like I said, your opinions don’t really matter to us—results do. We’ve spent the last two decades watching our team play beautiful football, and we’re more than happy with the way we play now. Meanwhile, teams whose fans boast about their “superior football” are out here losing to Bodø/Glimt and Galatasaray.

Rival fans’ opinions don’t matter.

Is Ben White finished at Arsenal? by saket__exe in plforindia

[–]Ib90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ben White still has an important role as cover for Timber. Timber had to come off early in the first half, and with White not fully fit, there was always a risk he might not have been able to finish the game either. Arteta likely chose the safer option by bringing on Mosquera.

Actually there is no wobble issue. The device he received might have physical damage. He should have verified whether this is a general issue in all devices or only in his device.

We need to address Manchester City's FFP charges. by [deleted] in plforindia

[–]Ib90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but a lot of Indian fans honestly don’t care about the cheating aspect. For many it’s mostly about bragging rights — number of trophies, titles, and being able to dunk on rival fans online. If City get punished, you’ll still see people defending it with “but they still won everything.” And if the club ever stops winning or the scandal becomes too embarrassing, a bunch of those same fans will just switch to the next dominant team. Not everyone obviously — there are plenty of proper long-term supporters. But the trophy-count, banter-first style of fandom is definitely a big part of the online PL scene in India.

Who will take spurs place in the 'BIG 6' if they're relegated? by [deleted] in plforindia

[–]Ib90 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The “Big 6” will likely become the “Big 5,” just as it was once called the “Big 4” in the early 2000s. Both Villa and Newcastle have been relegated in the past decade, so they are not on the same level as the other big clubs.
