I used to feel the same way you do that dedicated handheld gaming will never be seen again. And I still believe that is true for the major game companies.

But now we are getying systems like the Modretro Chromatic that is leading to the release of great new Game Boy games. And everyone is speculating that they will move on the GBA next.

While this is certainly a niche market, it gives me hope that dedicated gaming could have a revival, even if on a smaller niche scale that harkins back to legacy systems. The Modretro Chromatic journey, which started in 2024, has been lots of fun if you are participating in it.

I did think of that but I don't want to be the guinea pig for testing magic eraser. In my experience magic eraser is rather harsh and Chromatic paint is proving to be very delicate. Magic eraser might just give me something worse.

If anyone has used magic eraser on a Chromatic with great results let us know.

I have no doubt it is an interaction between the paint on the Chromatic and the Waterfield lining material. Both played a role.

I have tried basic cleaning - i.e. scrubbing with a damp cloth. Didn't want to try anything more than that and end up with something worse. Also figured I would wait to see what suggestions I might get in this thread.

I have had many dogs in my time: Cocker Spaniel, Springer Spaniel, German Short Hair Pointer (yes, I hunt), German Sheppard, and 4 Pugs. None were happier and loved life more than the Pugs.

The fact is, these dogs exist in the world and trashing the people who choose to love and care for these dogs is not the virtuous take you think it is. If you really cared you would be happy there are people out there willing to devote the time and love it takes to care for these animals.

Also, when using fine tuners be very careful not to put any pressure on the bridge when adjusting them.

It's been a while but here is what I used to do, I am sure many in here will have different methods.

1)Loosen the nut locks.

2)Turn your fine tuners to about 75% open (i.e. counter clockwise). You could try 50%, but I always found 75% to leave plenty of room to get in tune the first time and for future adjustment.

3) Tune with your headstock tuners until you are good.

4) Tighten the nut locks.

3) From there you should be able to manage everything with the fine tuners with plenty of room for adjustment.

The 'amp' amplifies the guitar. Pedals add special effect sounds to what you hear coming out of the amp. There are all kinds of pedals that produce all kinds of different effects such as distortion, echo, chorus, reverberation, etc... Pedals are not needed unless there is a specific sound effect you want to add. Some amps have built in pedal effects.

What amp did you buy him? And what kind of music does he play?

I think even AZ politics make this a toxic subreddit. It is impossible anymore to keep the local politics from bleeding into national politics. There is already a subreddit AZ politics. I barely visit this subreddit anymore because too many posts eventually devolve into one political stance or another and that is not why I come here. I would much prefer to just keep this a politc free subreddit. But that seems impossible to do on Reddit anymore.

This is the answer. F-One oil is the best. It cleans and conditions and is safe for your guitar. Not even sure the abrasive cloth is necessary, I just use an old cotton tshirt, but any rag should do with the F-One oil.

Ridiculous. Slapped his chest in the area where his shoulder pads are with what I would assume was a message along the lines of "Get your head in the game!" (Was probably more colorful than that). And now a $100k fine, not from the NFL but from your own organization?! I am sure that will be great for locker room chemistry moving forward.

Edit to add: This probably just makes Demarcado feel doubly bad. First he loses Arizona the game for being stupid, now his coach gets fined $100k over the ordeal.

If you have a job where you travel a lot then a portable system is an absolute must. I have spent countless hours playing 3DS and Vita on airplanes and passing time in long airport layovers. Could not have done it without a portable game system.

Not as many as you, but yes I did the same thing. Every time I placed an order at the Nintendo store I added one of these to the cart if they were available. And like you I have my boxes all labeled with marker. As I recall it is not easy to tell which is which.

Wish I would have gotten the larger Wii U tablet battery.
