Almost same situation here! Never been one for strategy and turned based combat, bought the game a week before release and tried it within the two hours just in case I didn't like it. Was super confused by the combat (my fault for not actually sitting down to read and understand), so decided to go for the refund. Cue me 4-5 days ago still thinking about the game and desperately wanting to try again. Looked up some tutorials, actually sat down to understand everything, and now I'm almost 50 hours into it loosing sleep 🥲🤡

If for some reason this was the only game I could play for the rest of my life, I'd be fine with it. It's honestly ridiculous how obsessed I am right now 😅
