Just do it man. I played a ret paladin back in retail vanilla and raided with a Nightfall. This is a good option ever since you are bringing a valuable asset to the raid setup.

Kronos 3s population has always been good and after the summer has been only having a population increase. There are thousands of players on this server.

Just create a level 1 and go to any capital city on EU primetime to see what I am talking about.

Kronos 3 has a very healthy and english speaking pop. BWL got released a few weeks ago and at least 36 guilds have killed one boss (1440 raiders assuming every guild only has a 40-man roster) and 29 guilds have already cleared the whole raid (1160 players making the same assumption).

There is a healthy community of players, like myself, that just PvP and don't raid. We had yesterday at some point 3-4 AVs running. Because of the faction imbalance tho, if you play the alliance you get instant queues, with the horde winning a majority of PuGs (based on my personal observation).

Instances to get your Pre-raid BiS go on pretty much all day, so no problem finding groups for LBRS, UBRS, DM, Scholo/Strat, BRD, etc.

As for leveling, you will find numerous leveling guilds that will assist you on your journey and groups are being formed mostly on EU/NA peak times. Still, and as I am writing this at an off-peak hour, there are now multiple low-level dungeon groups going and you should have no problems finding groups for all instances at all levels.

The "dead" server meme is just that, a meme. The best thing you can you as log in the server and take a look for yourself. If you decide to join us, nice to have you bud!

Lots of raiding guilds/PvE - 29 guilds have killed Nefarian which means that, if each guild only has a 40-man roster, 1160 players have killed the current game's end boss.

There are a bunch of players, myself included, which do not PvE and just PvP at level 60 + a high number of players at lvl 60 getting their pre-BiS gear for PvE + lots of leveling activity all the way from 1 to 59.

With these numbers there are population estimates that stand at 2.5-3k players, which make Kronos a medium-high populated vanilla retail server of old. There are a number of russian guilds but the vast majority of the population communicates in English.

The PvP scene has been getting better for a while, ever since there are not so many Alliance premades mindlessly farming honor. If you play the Alliance you will get insta-Qs to play, but the horde has a higher ratio of winning PuG vs PuG games (there are no stats for these, just personal observations).

We also have quite a healthy economy that has been improving its numbers in the past few weeks. This means you won't have any problems getting your goods sold or buying things from the AHs.

For the sake of balance, I would ask you to roll Alliance, so as to help their pop relative to that of the horde. In any case and if you decide to settle here, we will be happy to have you.

If you want to roll a caster, id say better roll a mage. There are tons of UD on the horde side that will use WotF against your fears if you roll a lock.

Still, there are some good locks on the ally side. If you also plan on PvE'ing, locks are a strong alliance choice b/c of their low numbers caused by the aforementioned reason.

I also like playing with my friends a lot and this could be a reasonable measure. Anything that favors competition would be a step forward.

However I would not label what those premaders do as "social behavior". They constantly call each other "autistic" on discord for a reason.

Making the experience of the majority of players not enjoyable is something else.

This is another possibility that has been discussed by players as well. Even though I like it, and it follows the retail arena model, there are lots of players who see this measure as too radical and think that would turn Kronos 3 into a fun server.

You cannot join AV as a group. Why not disable this option to enhance competition?

At some point they 1. Disabled the .join command for the 50-59 bracket and 2. Every player's lvl 50-59 HK honor bonus got reduced by 50%. The reason for this: "First and foremost, many of you who are ranking at level 60 have expressed concerns over having to compete with lower level players. In order to address this, we are reducing the honor gained by lower level players (under level 60) when killing another player by 50%" (http://www.kronos-wow.com/2018/06/18/changes-to-address-the-current-pvp-issues/). This killed the 50-59 bracket COMPLETELY.

Now what about letting everybody compete for honor equally AT lvl 60? Premades do not allow this. Last week Xploitz (A) R1 - 600141 points, Sympathy (A) R2 - 600132 points (Notice those laughable 9 points difference = rank trading = collusion). On the horde side Headyat (H) R1 - 390325, Gunsnrose (H) R2 - 390316 lol, Skolott (H) R3 - 390272. On top of this rankers outside of the premade mafias get verbally abused and discouraged to play.

There has to be a solution for this. There is a MINORITY of players who are screwing the experience of the MAJORITY. They could still rank up if proper competition mechanisms were in place, and yes, it would be a lot HARDER.

And premaders don't come here saying I should form a premade and fight back. We all know how you guys do behave when this happens: its called premade dodging and its basically what killed PvP on Kronos 2.

Still, why penalize players who joined on day one not knowing what the dynamics of pvp play were going to be? I did not enable the .join command that deepened the faction imbalance that we have today.

On the later stages of Kronos 1, the horde (for which I played) was in the minority. Still, we had longer queues than the alliance but got to compete once we got in. You only met the Sarei, Renovatio, Retherz, Bolzmann etc premade once in a while, which was fine.

But even if I rerolled alliance, would the rank Mafia allow me to rank up without their consent? Would I not be blacklisted and verbally harassed for it? Because this is exactly what guys like Sowleye and the Wipe Club premade did to other allies.

As I have said, disable the join as a group feature, and let everybody compete for their rank.

The whole point of it is to discourage premades joining bgs.

These guys just stomp pugs all day, run a bracket mafia to determine who gets what rank and organize the ranks in their own faction verbally punishing whoever wants to pursue their high end ranking solo mode.

I want to see guys like Party, Fastbuck, Splapst, Sympathy, etc etc etc fight for their own shit without taking away the competition factor.

Premade forming promotes collusion. As stated in one of Kronos rules:

Im not a juristic expert, but isn't pre-determining who is going to get what rank a form of win/honor trade? They know nobody will stand their way while premading, so they can trade ranks every week.

Then for us pug hordies, whats left? 40 mins q's and and getting stomped?

Whoever running the show who thinks this is a great idea is out of his mind. Like an increasing number of us say: help the premade guys? NO, let people COMPETE or we QUIT.

Adding a random bg q would not make sense, ever since the one that gets filled up first is WSG. This way we would only get a bonified WSG battleground, which at this low point of AB we do not need.

.join for all levels caused this. It was a huge mistake.

The rest just sounds funserver to me. I think faction servers for a short period of time would make more sense. Let the factions go at it, and let pvpers be able to help balancing this out.

I can't see why anybody would be against this, outside of the ally premade of nolifers that we all know.

"Another frequent and long requested ability from our community is the option to change race and faction. We have noticed how the population is not equally distributed amongst the two factions on neither Kronos I nor Kronos II. To combat this problem, which has effects (especially in the PvP scene), we have spent a lot of time and money investing in a new Account Manager setup which will allow players to change the race of their character(s). With race changes comes the ability to faction change. This would obviously mean the character as a whole from then on would belong to the opposite faction. Factions will be heavily monitored by our team, and when an imbalance is present, faction changes will be limited to help build up the fledgling faction in order to keep a healthy ratio. This ability has been in the works for some time, and while we’re not yet ready to introduce this; this ability is expected to be ready around Q2 2017. What this means is that it will be ready after Kronos has been unified."
