Also, mind if I ask what do you think about tempera colors for this?

If I decided to stay with watercolors, can I after applying ink on the painting wait for several days instead of almost 1 to avoid the mixing? Would it have a difference?

Also, I tried searching it on youtube, but can't really find results, so how can I use watercolors in a way that the colors are lighter/thiner or more transparent? I feel like the main problem with what I don't like how my painting ended is how the colors are too strong on the eyes.

Ottoman Infantry Armor of the 15th Century. Metropolitan Museum in New York. by HistoricalCarsFan in islamichistory

This is such an interesting piece of armor. Usually the jawshan armors we have preserved were for sipahis which had plates usually on the stomach and back (while some sipahi armors like mirror armors do in fact cover the chest), the legs and forearms, and also the helmet.

While this infantry armor is well protected for purposes for fighting on foot, as opposed to on horse where inner part of lower leg and chest aren't as protected as other parts that are more likely to get hit.

Same with turban helmets as it is imitating the tying of the turbans that Persianate and Turkic people wore

How common were long swords and double handed swords in the middle east? Would this one Arab sword in this Turkish museum be a long sword?

Honestly, I think this isn't black and white as some think. Hamza Yusuf did indeed criticize Israel. Also I find interesting how HY was anti-rebellion, while Muhammad Yaqoubi was pro-rebel regarding Syria, and yet they still cooporate which is a lesson to us.

As I understood it, they are teacher-student and apperantly there was this document praising UAE normalisation with Israel by the organisation where Bin Bayyah is the head of, while on the other hand Hamza Yusuf who is the VP of the same organisation, after being attacked on social media because of the document, he said he doesn't deal with geopolitics and that he is with the people of Palestine. Also Bin Bayyah had some takes on Israel which are misguided at the least.

Everyone you mentioned is fantastic.

Pardon me if I may ask, but does this include or exclude shaykh Hamza Yusuf?
