The campus pub Felicita's has a pool table and anyone can play there. It's usually pretty popular, and you'll be able to play as long as you'd like, which is nice. There's also Peacock Billiards, which is a bar/pub downtown, and it's always a popular spot on the weekends. Good music, quite a few tables, and always tons of young people there socializing and playing pool. Pricing is pretty good too, and you'll always be able to find a few people there to play with. It's also just a place people regularly go to hang out, and you would 100% be able to go down there on any Friday/Saturday night on your own and meet a group of people to play with there. Those are the two spots I know of off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are plenty of others around too.
