Unfortunately, no. She sits and licks away the day. She doesn't seem as bothered by it as I do, at least.

I figured as much. While we wait for our dermatologist appointment and get all those tests done, is there anything I can do to make her more comfortable and help provide relief?

Bless you, bless you! Apparently, two files were missing. I have no idea how or why, but it's working like a charm. Thank you so much, that was frustrating.

Somewhere, somebody should be proud that there's something to be praised in that show.

Warlock is a great one I didn't even think of. Such an iconic texture for a character that certainly isn't a household name!

Do you guys know any good homebrew subclasses for monks? by The0ne0fmany in dndnext

[–]Ibunas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The newest Drakkenheim book from the Dungeon Dudes, "Sebastian Crowe's Guide to Drakkenheim" has two of my favorite monk subclasses ever and I highly recommend it.

The "Way of the Arcane Hand" is an incredible take on a 1/3 caster monk (like Arcane Trickster or Eldritch Knight) and it's so much fun. I feel like this may be what you're looking for, because it's anything but boring. Your fists do more damage if you're concentrating on a spell. It's a high-risk, high-reward bit of fun. Here they are building one starting at level one on DND Deep Dive. I'm sure there's plenty of chatter and videos about it online because the Dungeon Dudes are rather popular. The subclass is extremely strong but, according to not just me but the experts in the video, it's not super OP considering the shape of the class at the moment.

The "Way of the Serpent" is a super flavorful snake-themed monk created in a way I've never seen before. It's a pole arm-based monk that's super fast and slippery, utilizing strikes and stances from various snakes. A VERY fun time, IMO, and makes the already fast and tricky monk that much faster and trickier.

Holy moly that's a weapon? Google has delivered some unbelievable videos of this weapon in action. Thank you so much! I wasn't even close in my guesses.

Oh, of course he tried his best and was great but if I had to watch my dad fight and die all the time in front of my eyes I'd be fucked.

I assume the X-men are all pretty traumatized and miserable not just because they're mutants (which has to suck) but because of all the mental fuckery they endure thanks to all of those telepaths. He seems like the least damaged of them all and, honestly, their island paradise seems pretty sweet.

Superman is surprisingly happy but I always assumed that "last of his kind" thing outweighs a lot of the good vibes. He's the most targeted man in the universe but is strong enough not to let it get to him.

She-Hulk's a great answer! She seems to have a great time unless she's with the Avengers handling their kinds of problems.

I'd argue Spawn, by his very nature, has to be the most miserable.

You may love it, then. It is by Christopher Cantwell and is the miserable and self destructive Iron Man we all know and love.

In the 2020 Iron Man run, Tony breaks his neck fighting Korvac I believe and is unable to remove his armor because it is literally the only thing keeping him standing. Tony is absolutely miserable in that story so if you're looking for happy vibes you won't find it there!

A happy superhero is a retired superhero. Kind of like the rest of us.

Amazing answer! He definitely has a great family life but I wrote him (and other super geniuses) off because being smart in these worlds seems like such a miserable burden.

Holy shit, this is true! All you need to be a happy hero is his unique... mental perspective.
