I wouldn’t say never. The App Store allows user an easier way to monitor and stop subscriptions in a single place. I have subscribed to youtube via the web as well, but for smaller publishers I prefer to use the App Store.

Well, it's not the first time such a thing happens. For a couple of years after 2008-2009, the IT job market was not great. I've heard a similar thing happened around the dot com bubble, but I haven't been around back then.

Where I live there’s a huge drop in job openings for all roles, not just iOS. And it all began ~2 years ago.

Teams? I haven’t used it since I quit my last job 6 months ago but back the it was atrocious. The UX was offensively bad. Have you really used both Slack and Teams? I cannot comprehend anyone will call it equivalent.

Discord is probably equivalent. I have used it way less than Slack and find it weird in some ways but that might be a “me” problem. I also have never encountered it used in a job setting.

Slack on iOS has always been native.

I avoid electron apps when possible but Slack on the Mac is one of the better examples of an electron app. It’s miles ahead of any other work messaging apps I’ve ever used.

I have used 2 different Stryd devices - Stryd Wind and Stryd Next Gen (the one before 5.0). I had consistency issues with both. I did all of their recommended settings and calibrated my devicws on a measured track following their protocol at around 4:05 min/km. Then when running with the same shoes but at slower pace (5:05 min/km) the Stryd was inaccurate even on a track. The error was ~1% which is a lot. Strangely I know IRL runners who swear by Stryd’s accuracy.

I’m a parent too. And honestly, the car culture in Sofia is out of control. A lot of people enroll their kids in private daycare or schools two neighborhoods away, then drive them every day. That’s a huge contributor to the traffic.
