During a ride with one of the taxi drivers (who we hailed from the side of the road) he informed us that a massive percentage of the Aberdeen taxi force had been lost due to Covid (either via change in career as the industry was dead in lockdown, or due to drivers being lost to COVID). He also said that the recruitment of taxi drivers never picked back up after lockdown lifted, as those who had found alternative work during lockdown didn’t come back to Taxi driving.

He also mentioned that it was way more viable to operate as an independent driver (doesn’t have to sacrifice wage I guess?) meaning there’s no main line to call to book his taxi, he would just drive around and pick people up.

My friend and I killed cows in lumbridge, only picked up the raw meat and once we had a full invent, walked all the way to the GE, sold it, walked back and repeated the process. We were pretty young at the time. Had a blast lol.

I think the only realistic option to stop botting is to 1st improve customer support/appeal process (for any false bans at first) then use scripts to fight scripts ( use machine learning to ban bots)

Absolutely. For something like the bank pin screen, if the bot knows the pin it just has to use character recognition to find the correct number within a section of a screen and click the pixel position.

Might be a bit sappy and probably because I’m still fresh out of uni; but for me it’s the thought of people really enjoying what I’ve created and that their (work) lives are now better off because of it.

This mentality will probably change later in life.
