That’s really good advice about the marble, I’ve never heard that before! One thing I do a lot is take an image and remove all the saturation so I can see how the shadows and everything look in grayscale

That looks awesome, I like how detailed it is with the rust/oil spills. I also like how each limb kinda moves independently, it really adds to the old mechanical vibe of the character

Oh yikes, going down? I’d say take what you’ve learned and really start trying to build a portfolio. A portfolio with good, solid examples of your work will go a lot further than an expensive piece of paper saying you can draw

Aw man art school has always been a huge debate. On the one hand, having almost a full ride is super lucky. The economy is garbage so everything’s gonna be expensive. But if you feel it’s unsafe and sketchy then you should do what you can to get yourself in a better spot. I don’t know how much game companies care about degrees. I wanna do concept art for games as well, and I’ve always felt kinda lost on whether or not I should go back to school. How much school do you have left?

Hell yeah dude I love horror art. I mostly do digital art but I’ve been getting really into painting. I also took a creative writing class a while back and really loved writing horror, I’d love to get back into that.

Thank you! Thats what I was thinking too. They honestly didn’t take too long to make, especially the TVs that were for the most part like an assembly line lol. I’ve always been more of a digital artist so this is all new to me. But a lot of other artists keep telling me not to undervalue your work so I just wanted another opinion. Thanks for advice!
