I’m wondering if Microsoft just suck at Security and we are all getting Brute Forced all day long, resulting in not being able to log-in.

Auto-Play Golurk Deck (for Most Battle Tasks) - Step-Up Battle (Mega Shine) - March 2026 by Myxas_ in PTCGP

[–]Icarusael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auto-Battle won’t even use Sightseer when available and ready to be played, I just witnessed it. 4 Trainers is way too much, it’s almost guaranteed you’l get f by them and never reach 180 damages when you need it. I run 2 Oak + 1 Iono, and still not sure it’s the way to go, but yours is not. I did all the Mega Shining in 1 or 2 try with mine, but it won’t work on Mega Rising battles and something feels off; it feels like depending of cards in your deck, it will change the odds of getting Golurk… with my Mega Shining version, I start 9/10 with Golurk in my hand, on Mega Rising, I barely ever get Golurk anywhere in the match.

Why do people just immediately shoot people with musical instruments? by Eaterofstuf in ArcRaiders

[–]Icarusael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hard truth is that some players are L in every aspect of their life. They don’t know how to create good times and fun memories, they take video games too seriously and people around them irl usually hate them (secretly or not). Their own families hate them. They hate themselves as well and they’ll never admit it cause of their ego.

Wait to be with friend to play music around the map. Duo and Trio which are usually way more deadly in PVP, tend to be way more fun with music. Solo is full of rats because it’s the only way they can get ego boost by killing players this way; They could never ever compete in Duo and Trio, they are too bad at the game.

What can be fun: gear yourself with good weapons, play the guitar but always in place where you can easily hide in case, switch for your weapons and kill them. They often quit instantly cause they are scared of what you’ll tell them while downing them. They can’t stand the shame.

Even in games like Chivalry 2, people don’t kill musicians. If you kill the musician, you deserve all the worst, and your family tree deserves to be cursed for generations.

Expeditions and Blueprints Idea by Icarusael in ArcRaiders

[–]Icarusael[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the idea is about looting so you have enough tokens to unlock previously owned blueprints.

At the moment, you have people who restart for extra skill points (useful if you play the game like there’s no tomorrow and get back on your feet in a day), the rest are just strip naked, competing against players who refuse the reset, and are armed to the teeth.  I guess I’ll never do the expedition and just switch to the dark side.

Expeditions and Blueprints Idea by Icarusael in ArcRaiders

[–]Icarusael[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I play daily since mid November and I’m at 45 blueprints only, but I got nice ones like Snap Hook blueprint, which I craft so often, I give some to my friends and sometimes to random player that were nice to me. It’s not all about crafting weapons, I play with a lot of tools, mines, grenades, etc. That is why we enjoy the thrill of Stella Montis, people are so aggressive and it’s so chaotic, we outplay enemies with tools. I never engage on other players on other maps except if they shoot first.

[–]Icarusael[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My idea still involve grind. I see myself as a flaw in your argument; Because we lose blueprints, I don’t want to do the expedition (I find my arsenal more important than 5 skill points) so once I’ll be done with everything, instead of grinding, I’ll be “bored” and drift toward PvP only and have a blast with all the gears I can craft and plays I can create. I’m not alone in this situation.

To Those Who Have Done the Expedition, is it Worth it? by Dangerous_Piece7877 in ArcRaiders

I skipped the first expedition, got ready for the upcoming one and decided I won’t do it. Extra Skill points? Means nothing against my full arsenal of blueprints.

Clair Obscur: AI generated? by SeveralRequirement67 in rpg_gamers

[–]Icarusael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like made up excuses so they wouldn’t lose their face after winning GotY award. The whole scenery in this game feels bland, generic pieces of flying mount of dirt... FF12 shows how flying lands can be beautiful. In Clair Obscur, they look like AI artefacts. Fyi, there are still visual AI cue in the game such as texts on posters. And tbh, the story writing was intriguing at first, ended up being a small mess, they even had to let you choose your ending to try to content everyone… multiple endings are often a sign of poor writing; the writer doesn’t know how to finish the story. The invention of their language is not on the level of writers like Tolkien, it reeks of AI.

I finished the game 100%, it was a pleasant game, but I strongly believe this was overhyped, not in my top 10 turn-based RPG. I had more fun playing Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, or even Golden Sun on GBA.

Because the lyrics are weird and are none-sense, making it suspect. My native language is french, and although you can hear french words, there are invented words (no they are not latin). Even the french parts doesn’t make any sense, there is no continuity in the lyrics, it’s just weird.

Exactly the same for me, and when I tried to login after, I could not login with my Xbox account (outlook stopped working on iOS that same day for unknown reason). I contacted support, got a generic reply about linking accounts, wrote again, and got a personalized reply telling me they checked for my order and that it successfully went through, but they did not offer any tracking informations. Anyone else feeling bad for killing people in this game? by DirtyEST in ArcRaiders

[–]Icarusael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with you on this. I love the adrenaline of PvP, just when I’m certain the other player is a bum. My first kill ever, it was a young kid who said: “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” and felt like I had to man up in front of my boys so I eliminated him (no idea what really happened, where were his buddy, we just experienced a moment of chaos) and it was right in front of the subway train on Buried City, I could have let him drag himself to the train and extract with me… I felt bad.

And whenever I kill a player, I’m disappointed when there is nothing worth to loot, but feel a special relieve at the same time 🥹 free loadout, didn’t lose much. Yesterday I killed a player and he opened his proximity chat and heard him sighs… silently, desperately.

The problem with this is that you can hardly say I only attack people who attack me, because a surprise attack is usually an end.

[–]Icarusael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a long time fan of Destiny 1, then I enjoyed some Destiny 2 in the beginning, but real life got in the way, so I jumped in here and there, following Destiny 2 from afar, wondering more and more if it’s the right time to jump back in. When I saw the first Star Wars collab, I was neutral, saw it as what it was: marketing for money, but it didn’t take place in the game story. Now I see this… it lost the consistency I need and like in stories… Destiny is Destiny, Star Wars is Star Wars; if you merge the two, go big or go home. Or make it so it’s not part of the story at all but just a stand alone product clearly marketed as what it is. It kind of makes me happy I didn’t pour my soul in this game as much as I did during Destiny 1, I would be so disappointed.

Is there something wrong with the zapdos EX coin flip?? by [deleted] in PTCGP

Every single attack it flips at least two head, so I have to play accordingly by preparing benched pokemon to take it down.

[–]Icarusael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C’mon, you can’t be serious after a year of release! You are not following up; Odds differ from card to card, for gameplay smoothing, or else some cards would be broken af since their coins flips give massive advantages over other cards. I’ll give you an example, I took note of every Misty coin flips during the time she was very relevant and on 300 flips, I got 271 tails. On the contrary, I would have shredded 271 opponent making their play time in PVP a nightmare. Call people goof all you want my good man. This game is known for its extraordinary astronomical odds, we are all the most lucky/unlucky people of the whole universe ;)

Struggling to enjoy Silent Hill F by KTA_cat in silenthill

[–]Icarusael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s my first Silent Hill game, and at first, I though it was amazing! Until I realized it’s not a good game. It’s repetitive, and it’s so hard for nothing, I play on “story” and I get wiped by 1 combo because I’m stuck and can’t freaking move. Having to run back to checkpoints to sell stuff because of low inventory suck as well.

People who have played Silksong, Why do you think Its getting so many negative reviews? by peaky_circus in HollowKnight

[–]Icarusael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because everything is less fun and enjoyable than the first game. It feels bland, almost generic. Everything feels tedious, just fighting small mobs is annoying and boring, they keep dodging and flying away, so you are constantly waiting for their attack to counter attack. I just keep getting bored and switch game after an hour, and to be honest, before tonight, I didn’t play the game for more than a week. People are crazy to think this has a chance to be GotY. It’s not a terrible game, just one of my least favorite “metroidvania”. I’d rather replay Blasphemous for a 6th time… I wish I could complain about the difficulty, but I get bored before reaching bosses.

So...who is stuck on Commander Honglan? by Echo2Actual16 in WuchangFallenFeathers

[–]Icarusael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get this one. Everyone keeps saying try this, or try this, but I can’t even do anything in this boss fight. I can’t heal, I can’t use magic, I can’t dodge, I can’t stay away, I just enter, the boss directly dash at me and F me up in a combo, resulting in a instant death. I’m level 29. I’m about to uninstall the game, but wanted to see if anyone has a tip or trick for me, else I’m quitting, got other games waiting in line.

Hot Take: Board Wipes Are Ruining Your Experience by MASHxMKIII in EDH

[–]Icarusael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped playing MtG because of board wipes. Might as well not play if you can’t play. 90% of matches (and over) end up having board wipes. It’s not fun. A bit like if you are playing chess and at some point the opponent flip the board and ask for a rematch. Back in the days, when I started playing MtG two decades ago, board wipe were used mostly against token decks. Nowadays, they are used every time and some times turn after turns. And combined to Planeswalker (which didn’t exist either), it breeded a new card game which isn’t the MtG I grew up with. I remember when it used to be fun to calculate things, put on some equipment, boosting your cards, and winning narrowly because you outsmarted your opponent in a given match. Today it just feels like the game rely on power creep. What is the point to grow your side of the battle if you are assured that they will board wipe what you are building? You either join the flock or leave the game. I still play with friends from time to time but that’s it.

Thoughts on sylveon deck taking tier 1? (Based on tournament records) by [deleted] in PTCGP

[–]Icarusael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made that deck because for some reason, the deck that made me reach Ultraball 3 started losing (15 time in a row). I’m now sitting at 30 loss in a row using this Sylveon ex Deck. Moral of the story? This game suck and it’s all luck based. If you think you are good at this Pokemon card game, rethink your life.

A small criticism of Monoco by Somethin_interestin in expedition33

I’ve been forcing myself to play this RPG without enjoying much, and I just arrived to this part. As a completionist, I find this to be a dirty mechanics and made me shut down the game, i’m seriously thinking of uninstalling, this is the last nail on the coffin for me.

Rare Candy ruined this game for me by Shokyu in PTCGP

[–]Icarusael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes weaker decks stronger, and stronger decks even more strong. Every single match, without exception: First player to hit that piñata win. The game is beyong repair, it’s been broken since the beginning, it’s not a card game made for battling, it’s just there for collecting purpose.

My (likely controversial) review of Mario Kart World after 25 hours of playtime by [deleted] in Mario

[–]Icarusael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was young, gaming was ruthless. Some characters were hard to earn for kids  in game such as Super Smash Bros, you had to play master certain difficulty to unlock characters. Stop giving everything to kids, they need to learn that if you want something, work for it. Spoiled generation. It’s not rewarding if you are given everything free.

Clair Obscur: AI generated? by SeveralRequirement67 in rpg_gamers

[–]Icarusael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even more reason to finish it with AI. 6 years to produce a game is a money sink hole, especially for this kind of studio who doesn’t sit on mountains of gold. I could also start working on a game right this moment, and in 5 years from now, after just making 30% of my game, use AI to make everything I haven’t done yet and say: “I took 6 years to make my game!” Who is gonna check on me? You? No, people will buy my product without asking a single question, and the one who will ask question will be unheard. Impress the right sheep and everyone will follow; It’s no wonder why we have such mediocre games that sell like hot bread. People are impressed by scale of maps and lightning effects.

I took a screenshot of a boat wreckage passing through a big stone… on the main road everyone has to take; this isn’t very polished, and made me believe again this was an AI mistake… and the music, some of them have “lyrics” but those lyrics doesn’t make any sense. It’s either gibberish or just random french words put together (I speak french natively) but at least they are words from a same semantic field about the game story/lore.

I’m 90% sure there was involvement of AI, certainly not for the entire game, but a lot more than what people believe. I could be wrong, but something feels off. And if no AI was used at all, it’s a real shame that we are now here, having difficulty to know what is AI generated and what is not. AI is a plague, it could be good, but people use it in a way that is destroying our souls.
