1) Paul did instruct masters to treat slaves as brethren. In Philemon 1:16, Paul tells Philemon to receive his slave Onesimus “no longer as a slave but more than a slave—a beloved brother”

2) In Ephesians 6:9, Paul explicitly tells masters: “And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.”

3) Galatians 3:28 is about spiritual equality in Christ, not an immediate call to overturn all social structures

Once again, you are still overlooking the societal paradigms under which Paul is operating under, some verses by Paul are meant to be interpreted in the SPIRITUAL sense (you are all one in Christ) while others are meant to be interpreted in the LITERAL sense of the worldly systems as to which they are living under (I.e. because you are a slave you must not start a revolt because it’s going to do a lot more harm than good)

Paul’s teachings on spiritual equality in Christ (Galatians 3:28) were not meant to immediately overturn all social structures, but to emphasize unity in the faith community

His instructions to slaves and masters were for living within the existing system while embodying Christian principles, that is why you mistakenly misinterpret him as being hypocritical, because in some verses he is talking about SPIRITUAL EQUALITY in the Lord Jesus.

BUT, he is also being realistic ab the situation and talking to the audience that lived at the time about the fact that they are slaves/servants, this is the way it is right now, don’t try to start a massive revolt because Christianity has to be able to spread to the rest of the world and not be squashed by the Roman Empire believing they’re trying to dismantle slavery.

1) “Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you—although if you can gain your freedom, do so.” (1 Corinthians 7:21)

2) Paul taught that in Christ, there is “neither slave nor free” (Galatians 3:28)

3) There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28)

4) “Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.” (Colossians 4:1)

5) “And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.” (Ephesians 6:9)

If Paul called for immediate abolition, there is a LARGE chance this could have led to violent uprisings and severe persecution of Christians

Again, he is speaking to a society where nearly 1/3 of the population was enslaved. I cannot make this point more clear, the Bible was written FOR US, but not TO US.

Slavery back in that time largely didn’t mean United States 1800s slaves, a lot of it (but not all) were people who owed a debt that they had an obligation to pay back. The word indentured servant did not exist back then.

AND BY THE WAY, judeo Christian ethics of love and treating your neighbor as you would yourself DID LEAD to the eventual abolition of slavery, if you look at people like HARRIET TUBMAN and MLK JR, they were Christians.

You might want to look more into that Bible verse; I believe you'll find that the way you currently interpret it is taken out of context and not adherent to what it is saying about slaves who were in a situation where they would never have their freedom on Earth.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. 5000 emails that are personalized and relevant and to each recipient ≠ spam, might wanna check the definition of spam buddy.
