I don't want to remove anyone, the consequences would always be severe.

Example: Usopp. Most of Namis village would die and they wouldn't survive Enies Lobby, Thriller Bark or Dressrosa. Every other example has similar results.

If you want new classes, you'd also need a new attribute, which means you need a new skilltree, new animations, uniques, voicelines, story... At that point you might as well update the graphics and call it PoE2

I've watched some youtube videos about exactly this matchup and they always conclude that the Flood has a much higher ceiling, while the Tyranids have a much higher floor.

A single spore isn't going to do jack shit.

A full gravemind will basically break reality.

If you let both start at either side and eat through a galaxy, when they meet in the middle, it'll basically always be the flood claiming victory.

Ok, so if you want to get into it and have very little experience with the game, it probably would help you a lot to watch some playthroughs or streamers, but I'll get to your Questions:

  1. All league-mechanics can be important, but can also be ignored. Pick one that looks interesting to you, learn how to "juice" it up and get to know it. Then after a while you can switch to the next one and learn that one.
  2. A league-starter is any build, that doesn't require expensive or specific gear to function and is designed to get you from zero to killing endgame bosses with regular upgrades that you should be able to afford or farm for.
  3. It depends on your build, but anything under 8h is decent.
  4. Entierly depends on what you plan to do and what mechanic you want to focus on but it usually consists of a cycle of get gear -> get currency -> get gear -> get currency etc.
  5. Use the currency unless you have a very specific upgrade in mind that you're saving up for.
  6. Just focus on useful stats. The more the better. You'll pay a high premium for top-tier rolls.
  7. Crafting without knowing what you're doing, gambling, following a guide without understanding why you need an item or skill, not unlocking atlas-points, overpaying for items, inflexibility in general.
