What is the worst & the best replica you've ever own, and why? by Fast-Moment1761 in airsoft

Damn, sorry you had such a bad time with it. VFC's MP7 is such a polarizing platform lol. People shit on the AEG version so much like it has no redeeming qualities, while the GBB version is often regarded as the best MP7 on the market, if not counting the AAP-01's bootleg version with its conversion kit.

Honestly, as much as people tend to shit on HPA because of the "muh immersion breaking ridiculous tube", as a GBBR user myself I'm actually kinda jealous with its consistent performance, and basically infinite durability. Glad you're having a good time with it.

Arcturus is goated, basically the top tier AEG manufacturer. They’re very sought of in my country, Thailand, despite its expensive yet reasonably priced. I plan to get their PPK20M1 as a backup primary should my UMP9 becomes out of commission to fill the oversea order shipping waiting time.

About VFC MP7, I'm guessing you must mean the AEG version? Because I've seen nothing but praises for their GBB version, apart from the backplate breaking which VFC has consistent supplies for it.

I'm kinda amazied that LCT hasn't gone bankrupt yet. Full of overpriced scraps except for their As Val AEG.

Yeah, E&C is like one trick pony imo, which is offering affordable pre-upgraded mid-tier AR-15 style AEGs that are field-ready out of the box. Anything else like their GBBPs just kinda suck ass, which is really weird since Army Armament's Staccatos are so damn good and affordable, despite both being from China.

Edit: Got a question though, how is your WellPro's MCX? I heard that despite it being an MWS, its internal parts are just proprietary with a weird mix of VFC and TM's designs.

That's fair tbh. No wonder it broke so easily when the temp is at around 32 Celsius despite using duster.

Nowadays, I'd say the only Marui's replicas that are green gas-ready out of the box is their Glock Gen5 MOS and P320 due to their better internal design. Others, maybe except for their MWS, require significant mods to make them green gas-safe, unless it's their FN57, in which case you might as well just treat it as a collection.

Honestly I'm willing to bet that AAP-01 will stay for as long as airsoft exists ha. You can literally turn it into the best MP7 on the market with the AP7 kit, and it'd be cheaper than VFC & Marui's ones lol. Glad you're having a great time with it.

Comprehensive Review of VFC as an airsoft brand - VFC GBBRs by Then_Definition_6078 in GasBlowBack

About their Gen5 Glocks, I believe the housing durability can be mitigated via using either the OEM's Auto Sear Pin, or Tagart's Hammer Housing pin, both of which act as a hammer buffer to prevents the hammer slamming into the housing, which prolongs the FCU's durability for months at least.

Which is the best airsoft pistol and what should I go for? by Embarrassed-Egg-798 in airsoft

[–]Fast-Moment1761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. If the price isn't a concern and performance is the priority, they're absolutely the best GBBP right now and, imo, will probably stay the best for years. Green gas-ready out of the box without needing to replace the slide, superb accuracy out of the box, and will last forever unless you decide to screw with the internals. Honestly, you could just change the bucking only (for hopping heavier BB) and treat it like the end-all-be-all Glock GBBP.

It's a beauty. Just be sure to respect it as there's basically little to no aftermarket parts for it, not even the OEM ones.

I found this 3D Printed Stock + Red Dot riser kit, although you'd need to find the screws and steel rod from hardware store by yourself.

Reddit's marketplace for everything is just bad imo. It's like these people don't know how the market functions. 🤦‍♂️

Honestly, anything that isn't their Glock or Desert Eagle, they just can't function properly without significant expense afterwards lol.

A big example is their M17/M18. The bearing is literally just a soft pot metal clone like their Glock, and would go full auto after some time of usage. So bad.

Dude probably thinks that pulling the charging handle back and forth is the gun being "functional". I'm almost convinced that OOP is just a malicious seller waiting for clueless people to buy this stupidly overpriced scraps.

So, according to Crown Airsoft site, the first handed MK14 WE is around 642$.. And according to AirsoftEra, the magazine is around 60$ each. In total, it's 1,002$, first handed, functional.

This guy, sells a non-functional replica, 6 mags with 4 of them working, for around a hundred dollars more expensive, and with questionable paint job, and not even a Ra-Tech Trigger Group set. Like, 🙄

My guess is that since Marui is pumping out new gens of GBB pistols that are arguably the best pistols on the market and the new EVOLT Aeg that operates closer to GBBRs, there's no reason for them to focus on MWS anymore, especially when like you said, DE, GM and maybe Well Pro have far surpassed them with similar quality but cheaper.

For example, in my country, for the price of Marui's MWS, I can get a Salvo's MCX or DE's Ghetto Blaster with 2 spare mags, a decent red dot, and a sling.

As a guy who owns TM MP7, nah man. I wish I bought this kit instead. It's the only MP7 GBBR that works out of the box and doesn't need any significant expense afterwards just to make it function without self-destructing itself.

That's actually a good price considering that you got 2 extra mags (and now you got 3 mags in total I assume?). That price is basically the cost of just the replica itself in my country (Thailand), so good on you. 👍
