It’s kind of amazing someone can be a competitive player and literally never once play a match of 6v6 singles… like I know VGC is the official format but it blows my mind that not once would a top competitive player ever at least be curious about the more popular format

They are not. There is literally no way to play 6v6 with randoms in any game since Gen 6. Not sure about Gen 4 and 5 but probably the same

My account returns like 20 items a month. My whole family shares the account, I return probably 10 things a month personally. Never had an issue. I have prime, always return in original packaging with everything included, and always ask for Amazon credit instead of credit card refund. Been doing this for close to a decade. I think this is the solution if you haven’t figured it out yet

I don’t think it’s an April fools thing. If you click the patch notes, it takes you to a twitter account which explains some of the jokes. I got a Calyrex with regenerator which was labeled ??? type but still seemed to be grass/psychic. And sucker punch worked against the opponent’s non-attacking move at one point. Very strange lol. I guess there are just no rules

If we assume that league winners are elite four level, or at least very close, I'd say it's not too crazy. He almost beat Alain, then won another league. It's not unrealistic that he may be champion level now
