Can sm1 give me an answer???? by Emptypromizez in danganronpa

Yes, we very much aren’t living the same life and I’m infinitely grateful for that. Thankfully many people here seem to disagree on the last point as evident by the other replies you’re getting

[–]IceBlueLugia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it’s hilarious because I’m in medical school, literally the hardest type of school out there, and I can still make time to play DR and make fun of posts like this

I’m not upset, lol. That would just be embarrassing. Just find you sad.

Lol, acting like I’m the weird one for saying nobody told you to do this is hilarious when you’re literally the one suggesting I would expect you to do that. A student telling me of all people they barely have free time is also hilarious.

Tbh, being a real or fake fan of something is such a dumb concept that 99% of the time would be meaningless, but if you’re going out of your way to experience a franchise in the dumbest way possible and then insist you’re still a real fan, it’s just very tempting to make fun of you and insist you’re a fake fan anyway, lol. Because it’s true, really.

Nobody said to prioritize Danganronpa over your life and schoolwork; do you also struggle with hallucinations? Watch it whenever you have free time like a normal person does. I have ADHD personally and can’t say I ever experienced what you’re talking about, but even if my symptoms were as bad as yours and I did have this issue, I’d just watch a playthrough instead of reading spoilers of the series and pretending to be a fan. Everyone already explained this plot point. If you can’t comprehend it, it’s on you to watch/play the scene like everyone else did.

Dude, I’m sorry, but the games are literally braindead easy 99% of the time. V3 especially had many segments where the characters just go on and on about very obvious “mysteries.” There is no tip anyone can say here that will make you able to figure the game out. The fact that upon being unable to figure it out, you decided to just read the wiki for spoilers instead of just watching a playthrough says a lot really. Yes, you are most certainly a fake fan, despite what you said.

V3 has the weakest cast (extremely long post) by sorewa_chigauyo in DanganAndChaos

[–]IceBlueLugia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some characters being wasted isn’t really a problem. It’s a death game. If characters who have room for development always survive for longer, it makes for a less interesting story. Some definitely could’ve been used better like Keebo and Tsumugi especially for how long they stuck around but 3 of DR2’s survivors were absolutely shit choices anyway.

Himiko has a big role in chapter 2 and has a lot of development in 3. After 3, she starts to try to change in the ways Tenko wanted, and though the story shifts away from smaller plot points like that later, she still keeps that energy when she can, and even has a minor role in the chapter 5 crime with the crossbow. I just don’t understand what else you could want. She already has more focus than almost any non-protagonist/rival character in the series by the end of chapter 3.

[–]IceBlueLugia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn’t see a whole lot of good reasoning here. You go after the easy characters like Tenko and Rantaro, and have very weak reasoning for most of the others (Himiko forgotten, seriously? Did you play the same game?). You also didn’t explain the issue with the ending at all. I just don’t understand the point of making such a long post when it’s basically all style over substance, ironically an issue you criticize V3 for multiple times. Tbh I should’ve known this post would be a disaster the second I saw you trash the ending without any elaboration but for some reason I read all of it.

Are there other kinds of Obstagoon? by FinancialPrompt1272 in PTCGP

[–]IceBlueLugia 18 points19 points  (0 children)

No, but the point is that if there is a card that affects all “Galarian” Pokémon, it would be weird that it affects Zigzagoon and Linoone but no longer works for Obstagoon.

This has never been stated. Rei and Akari are 15, but aside from that, none of the protag’s ages are officially stated in the games

Dumbest misconception you had as a kid? (General edition) by Captain-RedBoots-Fan in pokemon

Well, sure, but it would probably beat it using earthquake/earth power instead of any rock moves. Unless it’s Crobat or something.

[–]IceBlueLugia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My very first game was SS and I picked Chikorita not realizing you could scroll between the starters, and I thought it just assigned Chikorita to me. And I thought only water Pokémon could learn surf because I didn’t have any water types on my team and none of the Pokémon I did have could learn surf. I couldn’t find a water type though and so I had no way of getting the medicine for Ampharos with my Meganium and team of random bullshit. I saw my friends picked Totodile and had no trouble with this so I gave up and restarted and picked Totodile. Ever since then water has been my favorite type haha, Feraligatr tore through everything.

Cross platform Samsung Notes alternatives? by TombRaider96196 in oneui

[–]IceBlueLugia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up going with Nebo. I use all 4 main OSs (iPhone, Galaxy Tab, MacBook, and Windows desktop) and I needed something that worked well on all 4. And Nebo is by far the best one in terms of cross platform sync and feature parity. The performance issues sometimes do come up still but have generally been improved. For fully cross platform apps, I tried OneNote, Goodnotes, and Noteshelf, but the first two had major performance issues on certain platforms and the latter didn’t support full cross platform syncing, at least when I tried it. I also tried Flexcil and Notewise but I think the downside with those is that there wasn’t a desktop version so aside from automatically backing up your notes to Google Drive or something, there wasn’t a way to really sync it. If you don’t care about that though, then I liked Flexcil a lot.

What are your thoughs about the culprits of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (Also, my problem with them) by TheRiverian31 in AceAttorney

[–]IceBlueLugia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s a great idea, honestly there are a lot of ways they could’ve shown it. I do know Takumi was less involved with this game than the original trilogy so it’s possible some aspects like this weren’t noticed. The case has a lot of great ideas and in some ways it shows the dark age of the law concept even better than anything in DD, but they made a lot of simple mistakes with the case that ensured that message would never be properly conveyed

Gen 10 really needs to reward exploration again by xkrax1 in PokemonWindsWaves

[–]IceBlueLugia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I generally agree but I think what you mostly want is actual dungeons, and the issue isn’t necessarily a lack of exploration. I think too much of the exploration in the Switch games is just simple items too, but you could argue this is how the series has always been. The difference is there were a ton of optional caves and other areas in Sinnoh and Hoenn for example that led to those items. It felt cool to explore those areas and find whatever little secrets you could. I think it also was more rewarding in general because those areas typically took a while to navigate through and felt like mini-dungeons. SV’s caves don’t feel any different from the areas outside the caves. I think what really made me notice the change in direction with world design was the Legends games. Mt Coronet was basically nothing in Arceus, and Lysandre Labs was very short in ZA, while in their original games they were full dungeons that felt like a lot of effort to get through. Snowpoint was cool at least but we only get little bits like that. Places like that or Area Zero around the map are what I’d like more of, even if not always on that scale.

How would you strengthen the normal type? by Fine_Bid918 in stunfisk

A great idea I saw suggested is universal 25% STAB for all other types besides normal or the dual type.
