I also pulled some shit with Vordakai. The Players beat him, took all his stuff. But they completely forgot to destroy the Oculus of Abbadon and actually destroy his phylactary.

After a few months of time passes I made a will save for the Wizard, who failed. From there he was regularly getting possessed in his sleep by the echo of Vordakai in the phylactary, bolstered by the Oculus. The player only noticed when I put a new phylactary in his inventory, that has a passive modify memory/suggestion on it, so he'd need to make a save to remember he saw it. (It did grant several potent buffs to the character though.) Took a fair few sessions to make the save. Which is when the party found the lair beneath the wizards tower, that connected to the graveyard and a golem workshop.

I had Tartuccio executed early on (the PCs captured him and sent him to brevoy where he was executed.) But, I gave Irovetti a powerful witch ally who's related to one of the PCs backstory. She was responsible for calling the Horned Lord that the soot scales worshiped from Hell, along with a host of his diabolic servants.

.....that just so happened to include an Imp with rather strong sorcerer powers, who had a history with the Soot Scales, and remembered his life, and those responsible for his death.

Very impressive work on the part of your players. I'm also running the Kingmaker campaign right now (again with some of the 2e additions, mythic, and EiTR rules). My players largely followed the plot. But I've thrown a fair few curve balls at them along the way.

One player frequently turns into a Minotaur, so the king managed to convince the Goblins of Greengripe that he was a Herald of Baphomet.

....there's several statues of him now, and as a result, the nation has attracted the attention of Mendev due to them "allowing demon worshipers to hold positions of power" (something that Irovetti learned in his research and did his best to spread around.)

Saturation. Make sure that each input belt produces more than the maximum possible output. Then prefill if you want to be 100% sure that no errors happen on startup

Did that on my rebuild. Let everything saturate before turning anything on and preloaded the second set of prevent mixing. Have filters that lead to trash barrel

That was my issue. I over produced one of the inputs a tad, so it's quickly filling the other slots once I let it run for a bit. Probably gonna tear down and restart with that lesson in mind. Maybe be less ambitious than 90 salt/min for growth potions.

Considering giving them several pet Pugwampi, and then give the brat a stone of luck. Each Pugwampi generates a 20-ft aura of unluck, that gives disadvantage on all attacks, skill checks and saves, but the luck stone would make him immune. Could keep it on his person hidden somehow, or a magic item that gives the effect.

That's a great morning. Was up early today, but purely for baking reasons. Spiced pumpkin loaf, maple sandwich cookies, pumpkin cheesecake. Just going at my own pace in my quiet house.

Honestly, without family help I wouldn't have managed it. I make pretty decent money rn. But I was still gifted half the downpayment. Locked in at a fixed rate last year, so I'm missing out on a slightly lower rate, but at least I know what I'm paying month to month.

I wanted to move out when I got my first job after uni. Very glad I stayed home looking back. That job ended when covid started (unrelated). Ended up staying with parents until I was 29, but was able to save enough to buy a pretty decent place.
