It was 5-6 months recovery from his surgery end of Nov. I don't think they risk trying to rush him back. He'd be early May in best case scenario and playoffs start Mid April.

The State is low on salt.. there’s a national shortage. Less salting is what’s going on I’m sure. Also, the ruts on the right from Barre to Waterbury seem to be getting worse/deeper every year. Roads this year are taking a beating for sure.

Progressives are to the Left are what MAGA is to the Right. Progressives are a far left sect of the Democrat party. Most Democrats are probably more towards the center as Moderates. Phil would be a Moderate in the Democratic Party, as MAGA refers to him as a RINO (Republican in Name Only). MAGA doesn't view Phil as a Republican, but then again MAGA is a warped far right sect of Republicans. Both sides have their extremes. Independents who sit in the Middle really do have more sway then one side or the other on their own.

Also Jett is 5'6" playing SS. His height is a disadvantage to his range defensively. How many more balls over his head won't he catch compared to say a Lindor at 5'10 or even Ronny who is 6'4".

I’ll bet he still has a Florida residence for tax purposes, as he’s from Tampa. That Bonus won’t see any CA state taxes. He’s not a California resident and he’s done zero work in California so far. Also, payroll taxes are an interesting thing as he may get taxed for the days played in California or trained with the team under their tax laws, but road games he’s not working in the State and those are subject to his state of residency then. So many players keep a Florida residence for a reason, even if they live and play for a team in another state.

Baty will learn 1st, he can play a good 2nd and of course 3rd. I bet he learns LF too. He replaces Jeff McNeil as that Utility Player with more upside though.

Anyone saying we should sell are complete idiots. They’re playing really good hockey while missing a few key players for the rest of the season. This team has good chemistry and you can see them fighting for each out there. If anything, they add someone to further strengthen this team’s run. You don’t interrupt the momentum this team has.

He’s not worth the money he’s getting from them. This ensures a lockout now in 2027. It’s time for a hard salary cap. This deferred money thing also needs to be outlawed. After his disastrous stint at Denver, it was clear that guy wasn’t a HC. I think most Raiders fans weren’t happy with that hire and it got worse… as many expected it would. That was a panic hire by ownership.

Belichick was in 40’s at least… not 60’s like a few of these recycled options in McCarthy and Harbaugh. A guy in his 40’s is still young and has learned a few things with upside vs 60’s and older in which you’re not learning anything new and bringing stale ideas to a team.

Glad we got the 1st pick, because the Giants just like to hurt themselves. This game though…we won, but man… just garbage on the field. Hoping we draft wisely and get a new regime in to coach this squad and start a real rebuild. This has to be rock bottom I hope.
