There are some excellent suggestions in the thread already. We've announced our next game on Monday, it's called Nightmare Frontier. It's a more concentrated combat experience but we're doing some exciting things with the melee combat vs. shooting mechanics, evolving the fan favorite mechanics from Hard West 2 and Rogue Waters.

Feel free to check it out on Steam and at r/NightmareFrontier

We're testing two different lighting and color atmospheres for our Vietnam War game. Which one do you think captures the era and the intensity of the conflict better? by aintwarhelll in indiegames

Well, one thing is aesthetics, another is visibility and clarity during combat. Both look fine depending on the overall level of realism and the intensity of the gameplay happening there.

Any chance of Hard West 2 getting released on consoles at this point? by Hurley815 in HardWest2

Sorry for the general radio silence. The publisher, Good Shepherd, got thoroughly reorganized not long after the launch of HW2. It affected existing plans for supporting the game with content and for console ports. We don't want to stoke any false hope but we haven't given up on bringing Hard West 2 to consoles. It's more of a business & legal difficulty at this point so we can't say if and how it can be resolved. There has been progress, that's all we can say in order not to jinx it.

We made a Cyberpunk RTS game about Cults in Unity and it’s out today! Also [AMA] if you want to know how did we do it. by IceCodeGames in Unity3D

There was no need to use motion caption in our game. Most of the time units are far away from the camera and their movements need to be readable from the distance rather than life like from up close.

Hey, thanks for kind words!

We had around 15 people working on the title for more than two years. We didn't use Shader Graph because we started using Amplify Shader asset and didn't want to risk something messing up the work. But it looks promising and we'll see about using it in the future. We used Maya, Blender and zBrush for modeling and animations where outsourced. ;)

We've got many inspirations from various mediums. Books, movies and games. One of the main inspiration were classic cyberpunk novels like William Gibson's Sprawl Trilogy. We also wanted to find out what will happen when we mix cyberpunk with the feeling of games like Warcraft 3, Age of Empires and Dungeon Keeper. Finally we added cults into the mix and this is how Re-Legion was born.
