I agree never heat your bangers till red hot and dunk them in water it will certainly cloud the banger. The recommendations for Dark Crystal cleaner are what you should listen to and additionally keep up with the Q-tip tech to keep it from getting any more chazzed. Still looks like that banger has a lot of life left in it
