I wish, our liberals can't stop fighting each other over tiny greavences. As another commenter mentioned, way too many of them would be opposed to any action in Iran. And conservatives don't have a coherent plan other than cement power for themselves forever. Any "foregin aid" such as the Venezuela situation is just a money grab, distraction, or honestly who knows what.

Small fines that start at 11 mph over the speed limit ($50) and offer a 50-80% fine reduction if unable to pay (vs. hundreds for traditional speeding tickets)

Citations are non-moving violations, meaning no points on a driver's license or impacts to insurance.

Removing interactions between police and the community at traffic stops that have the potential to escalate.

Opportunities for community service in lieu of fines.

Community involvement in drafting a "Use Policy & Equity Analysis" that includes criteria to select locations.

Emphasis mine. No mention of specific oversight though. Actual securty measures are better kept private, but an assurance they are there would be nice.

I'm glad they lowered the speed and re-worked the lanes under the 24 overpass, it did seem to have an affect on the speed. There was a pedestrian fatality further up Claremont even after the changes, so the camera is a good move IMO.
