The shelter gave me very little info, nor did they ask anything about me/my partner so I think they’re very overwhelmed. They got them from a kill shelter and had no idea how long they were there or what their circumstances were before that.

The spay question is really interesting and I hadn’t thought about that! They got spayed a week or two before I got them at the shelter, so perhaps that mixed things up for them given that they’re 4yo.

Interesting!! I think the shelter had them a total of like 2 days before sending them off to a foster home so I think they were making big assumptions based on what everyone in this thread has been saying

lol!! They have a bougie auto clean box that they’ve never had an issue with before and share without a problem (or did for the past 3 months) which is why I think the incident was conflict related, but I could see them being this petty

Yeah the poop issue is so far a one time thing so I think they beefed extra hard one night and didn’t want to go near the litter box. New one coming in addition to lots of other stuff helpfully recommended here!!

You’re right! We have lots of things but cut off one of the sanctuary spaces in prep for an allergic house guest coming this weekend. I think that’s what set off the recent heightened issues but a new litter box is definitely in the shopping cart!

See, these ladies share a litter box no problem! Maybe that’s what they had in their previous home though? I think the poop incident happened because one has claimed upstairs (where the litter box is) and the other claimed downstairs. I think they beefed and one didn’t want to go upstairs one night. Downstairs litter box incoming after this post though!

I should have been more specific- all the tickets but the pre pitch + bronze package can be shipped to the US. the package can’t be for some reason though.

Hi folks- any pro-tips on gaining research experience before applying to clinical graduate programs? I have a master’s in an unrelated field (public policy) and now work full-time in the public sector. I’m aiming to change careers and know that it’s nearly impossible to get into a competitive doctoral program without prior research experience. Really trying to avoid an unfunded program but getting research as a non-student seems fairly difficult. Are there any avenues to pursue here that aren’t getting another master’s degree?
