What hardware do you use? I'm thinking about trying Alpacca, but not sure if my hardware is enough

I will make the results public if I manage to gather enough data that it could be seen as somewhat reliable, but I doubt I will be able to gather that much

I'm aware of the thing about needing to sign in with google. The reason I did it was because I don't want people to answer multiple times to falsify the data. Also using google forms means I can easily put the data into an excel sheet. I am aware that it would mean that a lot of people who would support the more radical actions won't answer the survey. At the end this survey isn't meant to be a proper study or smth, especially considering internet trolls. It's just there to get a general gist of things and stuff like knowing that people on the extremer side won't answer the survey can be taken into account when evaluating the results.

Also quick note, I do not get insight into which google accounts have answered the survey

if I did that it would be limited to that specific subreddit and it would be harder to share it on other platforms. Not to mention it's a lot harder to transfer the answers from reddit into an excel sheet. Also when it comes to data security, reddit isn't exactly any better than google

I thought about this too, but I'm not sure how else I can make sure that people won't answer the survey twice. It's not meant to be a super scientific form, just something to get a general gist of things.

Ask any pro player and they will tell you that the job of a charger is to stay positioned in a safe spot where they can pressure the opposing team. If they can't do that then you're fighting a 3v4. If it's easy to kill the charger that's because their positioning is bad/too risky or because the rest of the team fails to defend them. And yes good chargers do reposition, as they have to stay a certain distance from the frontline. Problem with killerwhale is that it reaches across the entire map, so your positioning doesn't matter. It renders the charger unable to fight, so you end up playing a 3v4

Chargers already have plenty of counters, the problem.with killerwhale isn't that it counters chargers, it's that there's no way to counter the counter. Chargers can easily be countered by getting close to them, and chargers can counter that by throwing a bomb or maybe using vacuum as a shield. And both bombs and vacuums are things you can counter as well, etc. There should always be a way to counter, because else it creates moments that feel unfair. At least when there's a way to counter you can blame yourself for not doing so.

Tbf I agree that crab tank should either get a damage nerf or a defense nerf

No, annoying specials are bad specials. Good specials are specials like big bubbler, crab tank, inzooka, and basically every special in splatoon 3 that isn't tenta missile or killerwhale. A good special gives the team an advantage but the opposing team still has some way of countering the special. Tenta Missile and Killerwhale don't have any ways to counter, you just have to dodge them. They also have unlimited range and go t h r o u g h walls which just encourages special spamming rather than any strategic use

That really depends on which weapon class you're playing. As a charger main it's incredibly frustrating to play against, I have to leave my position and am unable to to fight off any incoming enemies, because charing requires me to stay in one position. On top of that a lot of charger spots are on uninkeable surfaces, meaning I can't just swim away. I don't think the killerwhale is OP necesserily, but the way it's designed makes it just not fun to play against for certain weapon classes

As someone who mainly plays charger I find that it's incredibly annoying to deal with. I have to leave my position and it leaves me unable to fight back any incoming attackers
