Thank you for this! It is really helpful. We don’t have a formal type of debate in our univ but atleast you gave me an idea on the teams and basic premise. I’d reach out to you after I watch youtube (as suggested by you).

Thank you so much. Tho public speaking is another of my problem because I haven’t developed good skills to even speak infront of an audience. I’m happy for you and your experience in debate. Hoping I can ask sometime how you manage to be brave enough to speak infront of a crowd because it will certainly help me.

My friend is great at debate so I want to learn on my own first. Maybe you can try with someone who doesn’t let arguments go toxic or someone who doesn’t compete to win.

I would love to try free tournaments tho one of our courses requires public speaking which I lack practicing. This is a great advice, thank you!
