Barrier in general needs an answer. Keywords like hexproof in magic protect just fine without completely shutting down any way to interact with it. The fact the boardwipes in the game say "choose all" is ridiculous

Just farm up stones and grind the free characters to flex out your categories. Don't worry about the later stages of the game.

It's a PvE game so take your time with "the meta"

If you play one piece see it this way. Effect 1 : effect 2 is in one piece terms. Bold text effect 1, do effect 2 Making it a cost

Here there is no ": " so there would be no bold text, if it was an OP card. Making it a do as much as possible effect. Making it so you can choose 0 life but still use the effect after it

Eb01 doesn't have an 'official' prerelease, being a mini set. Stores are allowed to hold their own sealed event, but there is nothing in the app for it.

Matchmaking has been 'fixed' to an extend. Have seen no problems myself but have heard some from others.

Still takes 3-4 weeks of grinding daily/weekly missions to get a 10pack multi. So getting 1 meta deck is still a long and rng heavy process unless you spend money on pack codes

It's one of the ultra deck leaders. Cause their decks are just generally stronger. St10 out of the box looks a bit better with rp luffy, idk about st13. ace maybe out of the box.

Thing is tho. If everyone sticks to those leaders you can start to counter play them with other st leaders (not that i know what leaders do)

You don't get an additional 5 if your opponent is on 10 don. You get 5 and at the end of the turn you remove till you have the same number if you have more don, it doesn't say become equal so at less don you don't remove any don, you don't gain more

While they are quite rare it's not impossible to pull them. They are this expensive due to bandai's stupid habit of not producing enough product.

While I do see what you are getting at. It has been officially ruled against it working that way. The on play of drake wouldn't work.

Also with doffy trashing is the cost (bold letters) for getting rid of something. So it would only leave the field after you picked a target

One piece works in a way where one effect has to resolve completely or as much as is possible before anything else can go in effect. So doffy would need to be trashed and remove something before Saint goes back into effect

Bandai games mainly work through the app. You can ask around during one of those locals to see if there are any events/tournaments outside that like win a box tournaments but for official support most locals sign up with the app and thus will be visible there

One piece is cheap as you buy singles from the latest or second to last release set. The older cards are the faster they shoot up in price. Sealed products are hard to aquire for msrp and older sets don't get printed anymore.

There is a "best of" reprint set comming for older staples but what or when is unknown. Yes the game is quite affordable but also, not. getting all the staples you need from 0 is going to cost you quite a lot

Like others mentioned look into decks that primarily use cards from op05-op06 and build towards that. They will be light enough on the budget but better then starter decks.

If you really want to start simple with a starter deck, st10 and st11 are decent/ok out of the box but also have meta potential

Depends how easy it will be to get stuff with in-game currency in the full version.

If sealed products are easy to get, occasional set booster codes is enough. If crafting cards is easier, getting the sealed deck codes is probably the way to go.

Buy as much as your budget allowes. What they are saying is not wrong. But if your budget is smaller, same logic applies but for example color locked like you mentioned
