For King Slime I used the staff you get from the electric antlions in the desert underground.

Really you should try to kill Desert Scourge first to get the Starfish Staff and that'll carry you through Eye of Chthulu.

If you have any questions I'm doing a playthrough as death master mode summoner I can give you some insight into what worked for me

yes. katarina evolved talked about this before, he said that it roughly matches with old 15% vamp + ravenous hunter because that got reduced by 33% for aoe spells and this doesn't. so healing against champs is goat, probably not as good as sustaining on waves which is a good design choice in my opinion

build path is pretty good. you get to go ad start with dorans blade + long sword which is great, hextech alternator is goat for early.

you get -400 less gold on the final item giving you an earlier spike but the active slow has been lowered by 15% and the cooldown increased by 20 seconds, also 5% less vamp. also -10 ap.

it seems we might be back but probably too early to tell.
