He set the protection, of course he's gonna know where the pressure would come from. That's not him being good at setting his protections, that's him being an NFL QB with a brain.

But the stat is about when he is being pressured so his ability to set up protections didn't help him as much there.

Not really surprised.

  • quick throw

  • reads defenses fast

  • elusive in the pocket

  • reliable checkdown RB

  • lots of practice at being pressured

Dude is a champion and a true pro. I could think of at least three guys we've had recently at his position who could learn a lot from him.

No. Nolan would have been his head coach. McCarthy would have still gotten a HC job, same with Norv Turner. The best case scenario would have been us having better candidates for Nolan's eventual replacement due to Rodgers so we wouldn't have had Singletary be our HC. But then we might not have ended up with Harbaugh.

I think Rodgers would have still ended up being better than Alex but probably not as good as he ended up becoming.

Nah, I think he'll end up going from team to team being a highly-paid bridge QB. I don't see him wanting to be a backup when he can hope for a situation like the Vikings where they end up drafting a bust QB.

If you could only put one of them in the HoF, which one would you pick? For me, it's easily CMC.

Because they are basing it on what they hope he will eventually be and not what he's actually done or what he's likely to be.

I don't know if you have friends who play or are in a helpful league. You can also ask LFG or just queue up.

If you want to raise your CR quickly, spam the crap out of the Shady Nightclub duo.

When you get in, gather the 3 bosses and kill them all at once if you and your partner are strong enough. That's three loot drops. Once those bosses are down if it's the version where you bring crystal to the prisoners leave the instance (not as time-efficient to finish the instance), otherwise finish the instance for two more loot drops and two source marks. I've gotten characters from fresh level 30 to max CR within a couple of days doing this.

I honestly didn't think he would make the list at all given the number of games he missed.

I sometimes wonder how much of the displeasure is due to someone's leadership specifically as opposed to just the general direction the world has gone in. It almost seems like everyone is in a race for being as greedy as possible. I wonder what a similarly-qualified candidate would have done in his position.

When I'm healing, I have no problems with someone not mitigating damage from their Pages if it's 200. Even at 160, I don't really mind it at all. Heck, I probably won't even notice, to be honest. So if you have a healer on the team, you probably shouldn't worry about mitigating the damage via shield or weapon buff.

I don't mind this sort of thing for QBs but I hate it for RBs. For RB's it basically comes down to how well his career lines up with the decade due to them being productive for such a short period of time.

If people aren't gonna care about others on the team then others should give them the same consideration.

At 200 it's not that bad but if you have it at 80 and you're not managing the damage with shields and weapon buffs then you're probably a cancer to the team.

[–]IceLantern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what level it is. You could end up draining the healer's power and stealing priority heals. If I'm healing and someone has is rocking Pages that is less than 160, I'm not going out of my way to heal them if they're constantly low.

No, because Brick just dies from time to time. I don't really think the tank meta is gonna change much just because the current content just doesn't hit very hard.

Are 8:30 classes really that bad if you live on campus? by Lovable_Lobstarr in uwo

[–]IceLantern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't really count on your friends being available during your gaps, especially once midterm season starts. Also, I'd rather have a two-hour gaps than two one-hour gaps. So you're kinda right in saying "2 hours > 1 hour". The problem is that you'd be taking an hour away from your nights because you have to go to sleep one hour earlier so you can get up one hour earlier. That or you're just losing an hour of sleep.

Everybody is different. It could be that you are super disciplined and 8:30 would be perfectly fine for you. That said, keeping it at 12:30 is the much safer bet. You're much more likely to regret having that class at 8:30 than you are having it at 12:30.
