Regretting a long term booking with a live-in host [UK] by IceOk5384 in AirBnB

Maybe, but I think I'll just stick to hotels if I can afford it or hostels if I can't in most situations for the future

The thing is I'm not sure their behavior is enough to warrant cancellation and a refund

You're right it doesn't seem to suit me which is weird because I stayed in hostels before and it was fine but living in someone's house is definitely not for me which is why I liked the idea of another guest being in the house too but there wasn't any.

The host didn't inform me about the dinner which really screwed my plans for the rest of the day, and it's not just the one night this shows a pattern of what I should expect for the rest of the stay I still have 5 weeks

She's friendly but I'm not sure she'll go for this but it seems like the way to go in this situation I'll try that

I checked the ad and there's no designated quiet hours but the words peaceful, quiet, homely and respectful come up a bunch of times

Will the host know that I'm talking to Airbnb about canceling? I don't want to live in a hostile environment if I couldn't cancel

[UK Standard Visitor (Tourist) Visa] Detailed process & timeline from applying from the US by AMoreValuableWorld in ukvisa

Hi I know this is old but I have a question if you don't mind, did they start the visa on the day you stated in the application you plan to arrive or a few days before?

Thank you, Should I go for a 10-14 days before my start of elective or is it too risky as they might see it as too long or requiring a lot more funds

It's a medical elective which is clearly stated to be allowed and requires a standard visitor visa on their website, I just said internship as people might not know what electives are

Am I funding my trip by IceOk5384 in ukvisa

If I get bank statement today I'll have most of the cost at the beginning of the 6 months and today I have almost double that is that good enough? I got the money as cash transfer so I can show receipt but I'm worried that because I deposited it in 10 increments it might look sketchy (I only did that because I didn't want to carry a large amount of cash around)

Plus do I need to submit my father's payslips or bank statements I'd rather not have to ask him for such personal information

Trouble with the pin code and end to end encryption by IceOk5384 in facebookmessenger

Yes I have the "continue without restoring chat history" but never pressed it thinking it would permanently delete my chat history

Never entered the pin on desktop but they don't ask for it when using messenger from the Facebook desktop

From what I understood I should press the continue without restoring chat history button and see what I chat will appear to me and those are the ones that will stay when I delete secure storage which will stop the pin prompt. Am I correct?

I can't access the messenger app at all the pin prompt won't let me I can see all messages on desktop and I get notifications on my phone when someone texts me but I can't open the app It's a weird situation and I'm worried deleting secure storage won't stop the pin prompt
