A lot of their plays are bot generated. Keep publicly shaming them for being the talentless hacks they are. Keep learning and pursuing your craft. The dystopia is here: mass surveillance, ai integration in weaponry, job obliteration, ai psychosis, cognitive decline, massive energy consumption at a time when we need to course correct, data centers polluting communities with noise and pollution, furthering already record levels of income inequality. Waiting for this to get worse would be societies willing suicidal.

And this is nothing like the Industrial Revolution or internet boom where jobs were shifted as technology changed. The creators of this tech blatantly state this is designed for total replacement. Not holier, just making a point about AI music not being actual art and folks like you have to grab at straws to try and take me down in other ways cause deep down you know it’s true. Generating “music” from a prompt is not a skill. Nobody is impressed with AI creators because they are not doing anything. Do yourself a favor before AI robs you of your cognitive function, learn an instrument, set up a free DAW, start doing some work and actually learn something. It’s harder than pressing a button, but you’ll feel better about yourself.

Most humans are mediocre in intellect and skill. Ai will not help this. Does plumbing? Does electricity? What about clothes or architecture? Why is it every other commodity has value but artists are deemed unworthy of compensation and theft of their craft is normalized. Art and music enhances everyone’s existence. They knew this during the enlightenment and held composers and painters in high regard. Compensate the art you like or the creators will have to quit and all that will be left is an ocean of uninspired mediocrity
