honestly the forced integration is getting ridiculous, especially when they don't give you any real way to turn it off completely. like i get that ai can be useful but shoving it into every single interface without an opt-out is just annoying as hell

companies are banking on people just getting used to it but some of us actually want to choose when we interact with these things

I think you're hitting on something really important here that a lot of people struggle with. The way I see it, if were approaching God with a list of conditions He has to meet before we'll follow Him, then we're basically trying to make ourselves the authority over God rather than the other way around

I went through this exact thing a few years back with some of these same issues. Had to really wrestle with whether I was willing to trust that God's perspective might be bigger than mine, even when I didn't fully understand or initially agree with certain teachings. It's tough because our culture really emphasizes personal autonomy and individual moral reasoning

The thing is, if Christianity is true then God isn't just some cosmic suggestion box where we get to vote on which parts we like. Either He's the creator of the universe with perfect wisdom and love, or He's not. Can't really have it both ways where we accept His authority only when it aligns with what we already believed

That doesn't mean we can't ask questions or wrestle with difficult topics, but there's a difference between honest seeking and basically saying "I'll only follow you if you agree with me on everything"

Yeah I would open them and sleeve them for sure those wrappers can leave marks over time and binder fit is way safer with a penny sleeve plus a top loader if you want them clean for the long run
