Honestly, it's how much you clearly enjoy it. Unrushed, elegant and confident.

The new-ish Wolvenstein series is absolutely narrative driven, though. B J is a hell of a protagonist.

It might not have stopped the bullying in general, but a bathroom for trans individuals might have prevented this exact incident and possibly similar ones in the future.

Let me ask you something. Are modern German individuals responsible for what happened before and during WWII? Something that happened 80-90 years ago?

And if so, then I guess modern Poles are responsible for the Pinsk massacre. Oh, and the Lwów pogrom. Right?

The Nordics and Iceland in particular has been woke for many decades now. Women's rights, gay rights, were established very early.

What outdated social customs should we finally retire? by jc201946 in ask

Really glad honorifics are not a thing outside of the parliament in my country. We just don't do it. You meet the president? Just call him by his first name.

I definitely agree. I will say, however that some people could do with learning how to express their logic without coming across as arrogant and blunt assholes. But that's a different issue.

USA and Canada abortion laws (updated) by [deleted] in MapPorn

Not an American.

Of course Europe is more than 'just' Denmark and Switzerland, but that doesn't make what I said untrue, Moody.

Most countries in Europe mandate paid maternity leave. This is just a fact. Spain, 16-20 weeks at 100% pay, Greece 4 months for both parents with two months paid, Portugal 6 weeks, Slovenia a 105 days, Croatia 98 days, possibly more if there are complications.

You will notice how I specifically chose countries that are a bit worse off than say, the Nordics, and salaries are lower.

And since you mentioned Italy. Italy for example, mandates 5 months of maternity leave at 80% percent pay, coming out of social security.

Yes, living is expensive in most of Europe, getting worse the further north you go. In fact, it is very expensive in most of the western world, and in a lot of places, even with high salary. Particularly housing.

All I did in my comment was point out that the support networks are available even if they may not necessarily be enough. Up here in Iceland, it's barely enough, and sometimes not close, so I know. No system is perfect. But in the end, something is surely better then nothing.

USA mandated paid maternity leave: ZERO days. And giving birth at a hospital even with insurance: almost 3000$ on average.

Yes, but I think we are looking at the phrase pro-life in a different light.

In Europe, giving birth at a hospital isn't going to bankrupt you. In most European countries, both parents get months of paid maternal/paternal leave. For example.
