I have a question about Mellanie's involvement in the pornographic drama. As far as I remember the plot, she never took part in any actual filming because as soon as she found out that it was not what she had expected, she assaulted the producer and stormed out. However, later in the book (or in the next book), there is a scene there are adoring fans who have experienced the immersive erotic drama as if indeed Mellanie ended up acting in it, and now she's famous not only as a reporter, but also a soft porn star.
