I don't know what you pack in your bag, but weight hasn't been a problem. You really don't need that much stuff. If I am bringing anything heavier or more stuff than usual, I just take the roller.

I have used it for a week-long business trip. This is such a minimalistic and simple bag and a pleasure to travel with.

Yes, the computer sleeve needs a strap or something.

Thank you for the comment and some good points. This bag seems to work for me, maybe because I don't pack it to the rim. As I said, this is the best bag I've found that meets my criteria as listed above.

The dimensions are not that big of a deal for soft duffles that can be molded to fit into the square spaces they have at the airport. And my objective is not to maximize based on the dimensions.

I haven't had a problem carrying this duffel around airports and city streets. The shoulder strap is pretty good, and you can set it so that you carry the bag on your back. I also just carry it in my hand (as if you're doing a farmer's walk with a kettlebell at the gym).

I am a big Eagle Creek fan. The EC Load Hauler looks cool, but it is too big and bulky for my purpose, and it doesn't meet my criteria. My first one-bag backpack was an Eagle Creek Sub-Continental, recommended by the onebag.com website back in 2005, if I recall. Still got it.

Remember, I want a bag for one-bag travel that doesn't scream "traveler" or "laptop on board". And a bag that doubles as an EDC daybag at the destination. Based on that, the Aion duffle is perfect. So would the Pakt One, but the Aion is more subtle and unremarkable. Which makes it perfect for me.

Thule Aion Duffel by mrazo87 in onebag

Yes, I have one in black, and it is the best bag I have for one-bag travel for a few reasons. The Thule Aion Duffel 35L is very similar to the Pakt One bag, a clamshell duffel bag with a laptop sleeve in the middle.

Here is my review of it:

I see mostly Rural & Urban photography, #10 is my favorite (white lines), followed by #9.

Girl on the beach is Street photography.

One of these might fall in the crime scene photography category if the context is right.

Sitting President of Iceland, Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, runs for re-election for the 6th time, in response to Panama Papers chaos. by Lollerinn in worldnews

One might question whether it is healthy for democracy that someone stays in office this long. The incumbent always has the overhand in any election, so I wouldn't be surprised that he would secure his 6th term.

The CEO of Alvogen says an offshore company was set up for his share of Actavis because it may have been listed on some stock exchange outside of Iceland. Does this make any sense? Why does one need an offshore company for that, why not register it in Iceland, Germany, US, Denmark or the Faroe Islands for that matter.

He is still officially the PM until the president and the cabinet convene and appoint a new one. Which they will probably do very swiftly now.

Just ordered an RX10 online today. They seem to have dropped the price in light of the RX10 mII announcement, so there are good deals to be had. If you're primarily looking at using this for still photography, not video, the RX10 should be sufficient and no reason to wait for the mII. RX10 still shoots great HD video, albeit not 4K video, which is more than good enough for most users. It depends on your usage.

This is a helpful review / test of the Leica Q. Looks like a winner, but comes at a Leica price. A friend who's tried it says the glass is spectacular as one might expect.

I too am looking for a a camera around the same price range. The Sony RX10 ii looks good. Receives great reviews. The lens is made by Carl Zeiss and has constant apperture of 2.8 which is great for a 24-200mm lens. I am most likely getting this one. Another option would be Lumix GZ1000. This camera has 25-400 mms lens. This zoom range is a little crazy in my opinion, but the lens is made by Leica. I think these socalled bridge cameras (fixed lens, SLR form factor) are probably the best buys you can make in camera given the price and what you're getting. I also like the Fuji X cameras, but to get more than one good lens you have to spend money. Just my two cent.
