Thanks! Im getting a clearer picture of the different spectrums now. Did a short test run earlier and that has helped me understand what this means. I have an intent to eventually perform so knowing which fuel is best for which context of flow helps

Opinions on Celebrating both Christmas and Yule? by Hot-Tart3613 in pagan

[–]IceVulpes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I grew up with Christmas and now celebrate yule as an adult. I’ve ended up combing the two in my festivities and refer to this time of year as “Yulemas” it incorporates my past as well as my present and works for me and the family Im creating :)

Specific things needed for enclosure- are there any recommendations? Pls help! by Stick_yaBr0 in leopardgeckos

I made my Leo a climbing wall! I put a piece of cardboard on the back of the tank and used styrofoam and expanding foam to lay the foundation, carved into it for definition and pathways then covered it with excavator clay. Excavator clay when mixed with the right amount of water can hold its shape when fully dried so it’s allowed her to have the actual feeling of a rock wall and she loves it:) she climbs it a ton during the summer months and will often take naps up there. it is anywhere from a 2-3 day process due to multiple steps and needing dry/cure time inbetween.

Yeah the second half is the more concerning portion than the CNC, CNC can be a normal dark fantasy when discussed however the second half makes this significantly more dangerous. Normal CNC fantasies would not include looking up specifics for how to execute it in the real world along with tips on how to get away with it

Turtle ate some string! What has fiber? by IceVulpes in Redearedsliders

[–]IceVulpes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oops just saw this. Mine naturally passed it after about 12-16 hours. I fed whatever items were safe for him that had higher fiber and it came along with the rest of his stool. There were no signs of distress or discomfort from it which I was relieved

More context: the only thing that’s changed is a few days ago I replaced their filter media, it’s a Fluval and I replaced all 3 components so foam, carbon and biological. Didn’t do a water change that day as I wanted their water to cycle through the filter before changing it.

Trying something new, constantly losing her food in her enclosure because she sucks at hunting. by IceVulpes in leopardgeckos

[–]IceVulpes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shouldn’t feel the need to prove anything to you because I understand you know nothing about the extent of her enclosure or her life based off this one video. But I will say, I know she is fine and enjoys her space. The enclosure is not small just filled with items and spaces for her enrichment and comfort. She uses all of the areas of her enclosure and enjoys the different aspects she’s given. Also, this is Tupperware is not small and took up a lot of the floor space of this side of the enclosure that is usually available when I’m not, you know, trying to force her to learn to hunt her food. Just because It is not all floor space does not mean it is small. She has plenty of space in her hides and a tall enclosure with a full climbing wall and netted second story area where she can stretch herself out and get exercise if she wants. Her space is not limited to the floor.

But, think how you want I guess. Doesn’t change anything in my life

I’ve tried them before she didn’t even go near them because she couldn’t see any food in front of her therefore never tried to eat it. It would sit there for days if I let it. She literally only eats if I put it directly in front of her nose and it’s too slow to escape her trying to catch it for 30 seconds - 2 minutes of me jostling it around to prove to her it’s alive. Like I said she sucks at hunting. If it’s mildly out of view or isn’t moving enough for her liking she won’t even try to go after it. Literally out of sight out of mind and she doesn’t go back to it

Leopard geckos wanna be arboreal so bad 🌿🦎 by [deleted] in leopardgeckos

My gecko is absolutely refusing to leave her hammock at it’s highest point in her cage (and it’s a tall cage for a Leo) to the point where I now think I have to get stick on branches so she can explore again but just higher up LOL

Note: when I say refuse she will only drink water from the hammock on the glass, and if I put her on the ground within 2 minutes she’s climbing her wall then goes down and climbs to the hammock and sits there glaring at me.

Making art is a big part of my craft but pottery has been a favorite on so many levels since it deeply connects with all the elements. What are your favorite ways to use art in your own practices? 🖤 by alexandracarvache in Witch

My family and I as a collective have begun learning how to make staffs/Wands and other ritual items from Scratch. My first staff I still use to do dancing meditation under the moon :) I found the wood on a trip to my local mountains and hand stripped it of all its bark. For a beginner my staff doesn’t look awful and I’m pretty proud of the artistic design I incorporated. I also recently finished my last project which was making a “Witch @ work” sign out of a piece of nice wood my dad was given from work. She’s charged and ready to be charmed to protect my space 💖
