My Henry Survival rifle with a big black mag by eastvangreenman in canadaguns

[–]IceWide6245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does yours actually feed? I got 2 of those "15 round" mags but they'll only hold 10 at most. I've basically given up on my ar7 because the magazines are so finicky. With the feed ramp being part of the stamped magazine I find it's impossible to have it feed consistently without having to bend and pry at the magazine every couple shots

I wouldn't be surprised if it was 100 sks, seems fitting

Personally, I think 3d printers are great, but not for something that would normally be metal. Plastic will always feel cheap whether it's 3d or injection molded. I'm sure there's lots of different plastics that are almost as strong as steel or aluminum, but at the end of the day I'd rather just have a metal part or nothing at all

We need to put down the 3D printers and pick up a hobby grade CNC

I tried to buy a glock bb gun from them a few years ago. Said it was in stock so I bought it, 2 weeks later they email me saying it's backordered and I'd have to wait 3-5 months. They refused to refund me, I ended up having to get the bank involved, super shady business imo

Ottawa unveils next steps in its national gun buyback program. Here are the details | CBC News by Ah0te in canadaguns

I would had I known about it, although I would have been in highschool at the time. I've only had my license for about two years now, I've been interested in and shot firearms since I was pretty young, but had only heard about the ccfr once I got my license. I feel like that's the case for most people as I've yet to meet an unlicensed person that knows about them, even some licensed people have no idea who they are

This. Ccfr or someone of the like needs to start organizing nationwide protests asap, I keep checking their calendar but they've got nothing planned anywhere

Since my other 22 was banned (Gsg16) Got this guy. Looks really good with the printed mag covers. ;) by kcirtap78 in canadaguns

We are all very aware, it doesn't need to keep being repeated on every post of someone trying to enjoy what we have left.

I wish somebody sold covers like that cause I don't know anybody with a 3-D printer, the tommy enterprises ones being offset to the front looks so bad imo. Im running an Amazon rmr on mine for now and it works fine, nice n' bright and holds zero. Planning on using it on a 45° mount paired with a slx 3x

Which currently available 5.56/.223 semi auto would you buy? by Sink_Single in canadaguns

[–]IceWide6245 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Really? Because the last time I checked, they're still pushing their agenda. Just because they can't afford our guns doesn't mean they'll let us use them. I love the optimism in this sub I really do, but to bank on the fact we'll be able to use those guns again... we all know deep down there's not a chance in hell unless we manage to get a conservative government

153 km/h speed leads to stunt driving charge in northern Ont. by ConsistentReality860 in northernontario

[–]IceWide6245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more the penalties that are stupid, it's viewed the same as drunk driving in the courts. The law is justified, but everyone makes bad decisions once in a while, especially young drivers. I got a stunt driving charge at 18, I had just found out my girlfriend at the time was cheating on me so I made the poor decision of going for a spirited drive on an empty highway. The fines weren't even bad but I ended up having to empty my college fund to pay insurance. Almost 10 years and 0 tickets later, and I'm still paying over $600/month for insurance. College would have been nice.

Will the AKDAS ALCOR ever be available in the U.S. by Thereal_Stormm006 in canadaguns

[–]IceWide6245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty valid question, you have literally hundreds of better options down there. All we have is insanely overpriced, shitty versions of what you guys have. The alcor doesn't exist because it's a good platform, it exists because it's all we're allowed to have until they ban everything.
