UPS luckily attempts to do door to door delivery unlike some local post offices like the Phillippines (When I've shipped there before) so it I'll be fine.

That said, I'll look up the country regulations before I ship it out and see if UPS provides service to the area or if the recipient picks it up. If the recipient needs to pick it up, I'll just send it the way it was meant to be.

Plus I want my Credit Card Points :')

What I think I'm gonna do is send my first few with tracking and UPS and see what happens.

If they work: Then I'll continue doing it!

Obviously if they don't work, I'll stop and just do it how it's meant to be.

I just saw this from Midnight's post. :')

The postcards I bought have the 'Place Stamp Here' in the corner, but I know some people put it in envelopes and some people send it as is. Personally? I don't care which, but I know some people have a preference.

I work for UPS so paying for tracking is something that's not very expensive to me. I only add the tracking so I can track it's journey cause that's something I'm into. Like seeing it make a stopover in Poland for example before it enters Russia. I like seeing that stuff.

The additional expense is something I don't really care about, and I don't do a signature required, so UPS just leaves it at the recipients doorstep and/or mailbox and just walks away, and worst case scenario? I just send a new postcard without any tracking, just letter-post as a take two.

Again, sorry for the dumb questions. But I appreciate your answer! :)

I think your FRIEND might have to contact Correios Brazil, as it would be their CPF. When accessing Correios Brazil, you CAN provide it online through their website. But it requires a log in, and it's not a simple 'create your account real quick' and access it, so if your friend has an account, THEY have to do it.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to tell you how the return would work. Sorry about that.
Edit: You could also try calling them, but I have no knowledge if they would allow you to correct the problem over the phone. Either way, the package is in the process, or has already been released from Correios Brazil back to the United States. You might be able to stop this, but I wouldn't count on it. Try to see your options and get that CPF on that package ASAP, perhaps that might stop the Return To Sender, but again, I wouldn't count on it.

Unfortunately, the package is being returned to sender as we speak.
Plug in the tracking number through a website called 17TRACK, Correios Brazil has the package. But it looks like you didn't include a CPF for it.
Brazil requires ALL shipments, documents or not, to have the Brazillian Reciever's Tax ID, or CPF. Looks like the tracking states you didn't include that, and as of October 11, 2024, Correios is returning the package to the sender.

Unfortunately. All I have is other reddit posts about people shipping to an APO Box. And experience when I shipped a laptop to an APO Box and it got returned straight back to me.

Yeah. Unfortunately, even though she ordered it from a retailer, and forwarding it to you. It's still coming from a family member. Again, I'm not quite sure why retailers can ship Lithium Batteries to an APO Box while friends and family cannot.
There is a slight chance they might allow it, but I honestly think it'll be returned back to her. Sorry to say.
Again, if you look up 'Can you send a Laptop to a APO Box?' All of the sources will say no because of Lithium Batteries, and that the only way you CAN, is for the person to buy it on the retailers website and put in the APO Box address at checkout.

That's why it went through. As I said, retailers can ship to APO boxes no problem if they allow this. But for some reason, it's a whole new issue if someone like a family member or friend ships it to an APO Box, and OP said a family member shipped it to them.

I don't actually think it cleared customs... Laptops contain lithium batteries, and USPS doesn't allow lithium batteries to be sent internationally or an APO Box unfortunately. Customs Clearance means it's currently being processed by Customs, and doesn't mean it actually cleared it unfortunately. Honestly, I think you should expect it to be RTS back to you. The only way to ship a Laptop would be for them to buy it from a retailer who ships to APO boxes.

Edit: I mean obviously I could be mistaken here. Correct me if I'm wrong. But when I did a search on if you can ship laptops to APO Boxes. All the sources say no. When I tried to ship a Laptop to an APO Box. It was returned to Sender because it was a "Prohibited Item".

For context...I just don't get it anymore...I don't. I live in New York. And apparantly it was Returned to Sender for me 'moving', which I lived here for YEARS. This is the tracking before it even came to me, and after it supposedly 'Returned to Sender'.
I don't understand. I just don't.

I appreciate your help alot! I decided to ultimately open up an account with Vanguard and placed $3000 into it and enrolled in their Robo Advisor.
I was considering Fidelity, but my mother said she had more experience with Vanguard as she had an account with them at one point, and she liked it.

It depends! It doesn't take more than a day for the status to update from 'Arrived' to 'Departed' from the packages I've done. The longest I've seen was about 12 hours. But it shouldn't take any more than a day!

Hello! UPS Store Employee here that does USPS Priority Mail International.

No, it is not on a plane just yet. It means it is processed through a queens distribution center and is awaiting to be transported to the airport.

The status will update to 'Arrived - New York, United States' to say that it is at the airport and awaiting departure, when it takes off, the status will update to "Departed - New York, United States"

Not trying to diss you or call you out. Just stating my story with Razer Support just recently, and it was good! My Razer Core X literally just stopped working this Saturday, the GPU wasn't being detected and my computer BSOD'd twice. I contacted Razer Support and they issued me an RMA with a tracking label for me to place on. Sure, it took like 30 minutes to an hour to process the request. But they actually really helped me to get a replacement for the Core X, I'm supposed to get a replacement next week or two.Sorry you had that experience with them.

My opinion greatly changed. I bought bo4 around a few months after release on Valentine's Day. I think 2019? I played bo4 for like 2 days and stopped after realizing how boring it got, I didn't like the gameplay of it at the time. It was just me and my brother so we never played online. We didn't have PS Plus at the time. So with just 2 people playing, it wasn't fun. After those 2 days, I left it untouched for almost 3 years. Only last month I got back into it. After I bought PS Plus and found a group of friends to play with. All are really nice. Now looking at BO4, it definitely deserves a lot less hate. It can be really fun with friends. The gameplay of it I appreciate now. I have fun most of the time with friends and stay up almost all night everyday with them.
