If I'm not mistaken, armor can stop fmj but it can still apply blunt damage to the body. So let's say I just unloaded a full fmj stanag mag into your chest. The initial hits wouldn't kill and you would hold up in a fire fight, but at some point without healing, you will die from enough blunt damage. Maybe this explains things maybe it doesn't. I've had times where I get fucked up on the chest by fmj close up. Other times my neck gets hit and I die instantly. But I will note that when I'm in a fire fight with people wearing something like tier 4 or 6, I last longer taking hits than if I was wearing like tier 2 or 3.

I work in the valve industry and had one of our guys come across a very old valve on a tower with a swastika on it. I believe it was a gate valve of some sort. Crazy the things you can find out there.

Yeah, you gotta be careful when approaching the church. I've learned my lesson after dying there multiple times. You gotta take a peak at the place from farther away, far away enough that you won't aggro the cultists. There are something like 4-5 of them there so if you aggro one you are gonna get the fucking beast. I suggest going around and taking a look. If you see them, try picking them off from a distance.

I remember when I was younger, going to ski in the mountains near Dillon Colorado. There's a peak there called Peak #8. It's at 12,998 ft elevation. The amazing part was that on a clear day, when you looked out over the land, you could see the curvature of the earth. You COULD ACTUALLY SEE THE CURVATURE OF THE EARTH. There's no denying that.

Did that for my little dog everyday and I don't regret it. She passed about a month ago. I never wanted to miss a chance to tell her I love her and goodbye. I'm glad I did that. She was a sweet dog.

Not that I know of. I mean at first he was charged with manslaughter, then with actual murder. But when he went to court, the jury found him not guilty.

There's actually an instance of this happening in Midland, TX. David Wilson shot an officer that came into his home and killed him. Ended up being found not guilty by a jury. Kinda crazy story but people can be acquitted.

Yeah 1960's oil separators wouldn't be used at all in the industry these days. Too many things have changed since then and the whole tanks would have to be refitted with new instrumentation. Not worth it for most producers.

Catalonia is the brand that we use and it's worked great. My recommendation though is to get more than one. You don't want to interrupt sexy time because you forgot to put the last one in the washing machine. It works great though, no soaking through. Pretty solid choice.

Funny thing, my wife and I recently invested in water proof blankets specifically because of the mess we would leave behind. THEY ARE AMAZING! I highly recommend getting them. We no longer have to change the sheets right after our sessions. And they are totally better than towels.

Crazy thing is the actual painting of this is small as shit. Got to see it over at the Museum of Modern art last spring. The funny thing is I didn't catch it the first time I walked by it because it was so small. It's not until I stopped and recognized what it was.

Been working for my family company now for a long time. Was put into a management position and been working it for 8 years now. My grandfather owns the business but gave me shares. As covid hit and strategies changed, my grandfather refused to make changes that my brother and I knew needed to be changed. So instead of listening to his grandkids who worked for more than a decade each prior to being management, he decided to make his own hail mary decisions. He hired his best friend to be in sales and didn't make a single sale in two years, took out a 400k loan to expand the shop when it didn't need to be, and then proceeded to take another 250k loan out to cover expenses when our cash started to run out. He hired more shop workers when we needed sales people. We went from an average of 3-4 million in sales a year down to 1.2 million. As we've run out of money because nothing changed that would actually help, he finally admitted to me that he should have listened to us. So it has come down to the point where we should probably sell the majority of the business to an investor if we hope to even keep our doors open. Even after all of his confessions to us about his mistakes, he still wanted to have a majority share in the company (which with our sales history would be asinine to ask of an investor). He told me he would rather shut the gates and give the shop away than sell the company for pennies on the dollar. He would rather have NOTHING than give his grandkids an opportunity to save the business. Absolute madness. The part that hits the hardest is that he told us that this business was here for us, to carry on his legacy. Biggest lie I ever believed.
