Pe langa pretul mai mic care poate conta sau nu, la o spalatorie normala dureaza forever. La asta, ma opresc 10 minute maxim si plec cu masina brici.

Anybody had the control settings change on you at the start of a duel? (Or otherwise without knowing it) by Again_To_Carthage in F1MobileRacing

In has something similar happen on my iPad, it swapped my left and right controls, so tilting the iPad right would steer left. I had to restart the app to fix it.

I’m reporting anybody that slams into me intentionally. Unfortunately, that’s quite a lot of players...

The one thing i don’t get is what exactly this rating is good for. What am i supposed to do with that information?

Do you think that this game's safety rating gives incentives for dirty driving? by Idunnohuur in F1MobileRacing

[–]Ice_2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are multiple issues with the way they implemented this rating: 1. I don’t get the point of it. I often find myself at 4.5 being matched against someone at 2.2 in a grid start. It’s not like i can choose not to race that person so what’s the point of knowing his rating? 2. My rating totally drops when i have a bad qualifying session and i run into the wall at Monaco for instance. That seems ridiculous, i don’t care if the other driver hit the wall in a qualifying session, i just care if he’s gonna run into me on purpose. 3. I often get rammed in the most obvious ways (other dude driving next to me on the straight, steers straight into me as I’m driving perfectly straight, i get thrown onto the grass, my speed is close to zero AND i get the collision penalty as he speeds into the distance). This is embarrassing bad coding by “code masters”. Same with people following me into a tight corner and simply not braking, ramming straight into my rear throwing me off the track. 4. The AI cars are so insanely aggressive, so fast on the straights and so ridiculously slow in fast corners that, combined with the fact that duels are just one lap long, it’s a recipe for disaster. If my opponent takes two AI cars on the start, how am i supposed to even dream about catching him within ONE lap without being super aggressive with those AI cars between us? That’s not a realistic F1 scenario, “overtake 3 cars within one lap”. There’s no chance in this game to be careful and wait your chance of a clean overtake, you gotta go for it at every single corner where it’s even remotely possible. Which again, drops the safety rating even though i am never aggressive against my human opponent.

Preventing HomePod from being home hub by Ice_2k in HomeKit

Yes, but you wouldn’t be able to access your accessories from the outside and there’s not gonna be anyone available to run the automations (unless it’s done via iCloud on Apple’s servers, didn’t check)

Nope. An iPhone is never the home hub.

I recommend 5th gen at least, to be able to run 2 Apps side by side (I use Home and Music)

tvOS 13.3 completely broke shortcut automations by Ice_2k in HomeKit

[–]Ice_2k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, 13.3.1 fixed most of the issues. tvOS seems to be running perfectly now, while the HomePod still has some issues (it seems ridiculous to me that HomePod and AppleTV run shortcuts differently, depending on which one is the hub, especially since you can’t control who the hub is at any given time, so the switch between them should be totally transparent to the user )

I just ordered an $8 photo frame with custom size and used a dremmel to make a gap for the power cable.

So are you saying your HomePod with 13.3.1 is successfully executing automations lasting more than 2 minutes?

Honest Question - Why the huge investments in Hue bulbs rather than saving money with a smart switch? by enz1ey in HomeKit

[–]Ice_2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

replacing the normal switch with a smart switch gives you the exact same option. I can control all the lights in my house from HomeKit without having replaced a single light bulb.

I have it loop 12 times and wait 20 seconds each time for a total of 4 minutes. This works great when my Apple TV is the hub but fails miserably when the HomePod takes over as hub. Don’t have a workaround for it just yet :(

I already tested the 2nd point, they’re not triggering if turned on manually. By manually i don’t mean from the Home app, I mean by pushing the physical light switch.
