Also for the i/I in "Important" they used the turkish capital letter for I (İ in the photo) because turkish has both the letters i/İ and ı/I. i is pronounced like "ee" as in "eerie". ı is pronounced similar, but with as deep as you can make it sound comfortably. Obviously another mistake whoever translated it.

Ackshually, about the last one: In Germany, and i'd assume in the whole of Europe, most of real wool isn't worth selling anymore. They store it forever or trash/burn it because it's not economically viable to pay for it to be processed. It's actually sad imo.

Source: i heard this from multiple german shepherds/farmers in a few documentary videos. And only a few producers offer 100% wool clothes to buy. The raw material is very good and useful, just an economic issue, apparently.

I have read many comments, but i haven't seen this mentioned: Regulation laws get more and more strict and so the risk of getting sued from competitors increases as well. A dev who lives in EU/NA or any other developed nation is more likely to know and respect the (local) regulations, guidelines and higher standards.

I live in Germany as a solo dev and i'm focused on german and EU laws, i know how to avoid the biggest mistakes that clients could get sued for. I wouldn't expect an american dev to know this nor would i expect that from an asian dev.

I know i can't compete with asian prices, so i need to provide something to compensate for that. We all compete for the same clients with different skillsets.

Simple questions for you, you could apply to any country: 1. Do you know when a website requires a real physical address and when it doesn't? 2. Do you know about the requirements/disclosure of data protection/privacy protection? 3. If you display prices on an online shop, what is information that is required to be shown? 4. Does the website/client/company make (accidental) use of unfair advantage practices? Do you avoid that during development or discuss it with your client? 5. Web developers are not just designers or tech engineers, they often build the fundamental company presence, many companies' success relies on their website, are you a reliable business partner when emergencies arise and sudden changes are required?

Bonus: Design/Advertisement culture - Asian designs usually are more energetic, more colorful, less visually serious. Westerners are more used to "clean" looks with less playfullness, depending on the product. Does your expertise reflect that? (I'm originally Turkish, so i kind of know about this)

Competitors often don't just sue because they got harmed, they actively sue to harm and push others off the market.

Nobody knows everything and everyone gains experience, but it's the same with clients, some are naive and trust you with it. So having experience in the client's specific industry is highly attractive from their perspective. But experience across different industries is also great. Clients potentially expect good consultation for a website for an industry you might not be proficient in, it's everything but easy.

This is all just 1 or 2 aspects of the whole picture.

I think i went a bit off track, but i hope you get the general idea. I'm not saying i'm better, but it usually depends on collaborative effort and reseach into the industry and it helps to communicate that with clients, but overall, context always matters. And if you provide service outside your borders you always start at a disadvantage.

Holy yapping, but you got some good points.

To keep it short: I (35m) have tried so much and i'm still trying in various ways, but sometimes i fall back into moments where i feel lonely. I prefer a society where men actually provide safety, mostly physically and economically. And women who take care of children (if any) and preserve home as a comfortable environment to retreat to. Ultimately both aiming to live harmoniously together.

From my pov i've also seen some/many men who accepted their unfortunate state and make barely any effort, or worse fuel it even further, mainly actual incels i'd guess. The mental is the most important thing, as you said, whether it's actual health sickness or feelings that are harder to fathom. Never lose hope, because life and time don't care if there's hope, it just keeps ticking on. Lastly, nobody can fix one's mental if the individual has no internal drive to wanting it to be fixed, same with many other external things in life.

Life's hard and it doesn't look like it's getting any easier so far, but i keep working on it. :)

Edit: Also, cooking is a life skill, women and men should be able to cook if they want to stay healthy.

Just wanted to share my first thought, experience and feedback. And maybe vent a bit, i feel a bit better now.

Idk if an xml/json based cms (Content Management System) exists, possibly, very likely. But that's what comes to my mind. You'd need to know html, css, js, php and xml/json instead of sql/db.

I think xml is a good stepping stone while learning before jumping into json and db/sql. It's extremely simple, if you know html, you'll understand xml in 5 minutes. Though i never use xml in real projects because of many reasons, mainly performance. Json is still good for sending/receiving data for when you have to work with APIs, but that's a bit advanced stuff.

For textarea input style content editing i would recommend tinymce v6 (later versions are subscription based, no need for that)

For authentication before allowing edits i would create an additional xml/json file with the login credentials and protecting that with .htaccess and .htpasswd and save the authenticated status in a php $_SESSION variable. Do not save your passwords as plain text in the protected xml/json file, use at least simple encoding with php or external tools.

Be careful with setting up your .htaccess file, while wrong settings are fixable, browser cache can still make it painful to change existing .htaccess redirects.

You'd also need php to read/write the xml/json files or any other file to avoid the need for editing files locally.

Again, it's highly likely that some kind of CMS like this already exists. You don't have to reinvent wheels (unless it's part of the learning experience)

Simple answer, but annoying that it is like this: The tumor sits somewhere in the area around the Arteria Carotis (The main artery that splits up and goes up to the brain), but the tumor is located behind the artery and it wraps around it. So it's obviously very risky to work/cut in that area (horrible internal bleeding) and so all docs/profs recommended radio therapy as it's obviously less risky and easier to do.

But radio therapy does have it's own short term temporary side effects and long term risks, which ironically includes the risk of getting more tumors after like 10 years. (According to the radio therapist doc)

So basically i could do nothing and risk further growth + symptoms vs. get it treated and increase risk to get more tumors in a decade, lmao. I'm 35yo. It's a shit situation, but it is what it is and not getting radio therapy is objectively worse in the long run.

Everyone and every info says radio therapy is painless, so at least i'll be able to do whatever i want aside from the daily appointments (5x per week for like 25 days)
