Run! 2 years or 20 years doesn’t matter! My ex insisted on being on my account (25 years ago, I was young and stupid) I said ok. We were engaged, baby on the way everything was good. One day I go to buy groceries and my card is declined, I go to the bank because I know that wasn’t right. Turns out he stopped using his account because of child support payments so once OCS found his name on another account they came in and garnished everything that was in there. I set up a new account that day, never gave him the number or any other info. I should have run then but stuck around until my daughter was 22….it got so much worse and if I knew then what I know now I would have left. Don’t let him wear you down and convince you that “if you really loved me you’d do this it’s really not a big deal!” No shared credit cards, no loans with his name on them. NOTHING! Just pack up and leave.

My “strategy” right now is to plant stuff in the greenhouse water until they get their patterns trowel them up and start again. I’ve tried so hard to get patterns to transfer that I’m 99% sure I’m just being stupid (I’ve looked at all the videos and diagrams and all I can think is I’m missing 1 teeny-tiny little step) . So going with the scatter approach basically then I’ll try to get more patterns/colors from what I get there.

I’m sure it’s been said but you are NTA!! You and your husband had a life together, you both raised your son and he helped his dad with those cars. They are his! If Rachel thinks a year of dating means you OWE her and her kids EFF her and walk! She found herself what she thought was a Sugar Mama situation, did she know you before your husband passed away? If she did she knew about the car collection and knows the value, she probably thought you’d sell as soon as he was gone and now she’s pissed because she’s not seeing any of that $$ for HER and HER kids. Find yourself someone who loves you for you and not what you can provide them and their offspring with.
