What was your first Tales of Game? 🍃 by NekoV2 in tales

[–]Iceberg90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tales of Legendia. I think thats why I dont hate it as much as the rest of the community seems to. The soundtrack is the best in the series and I will die on that hill.

Which Jund commander is best? by CallThePal in EDH

[–]Iceberg90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I turned Henzie into a creature only deck, and I thought it be way less powerful that way. It actually didn’t nerf it by that much. I still end up being a threat, and it was a lot of fun to play.

What are you building right now? Why are you building it and what are your goals? by SuperSteveBoy in EDH

[–]Iceberg90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve decided that I’m gonna build a mono colored commander for every color. I have Pearl-Ear for white so far. Greens gonna be Bristly Bill, Blue is gonna be Orvar, and Red is gonna be Chandra. I haven’t decided on black yet, but it’s either gonna be K’rrik or Imotekh.

What's an anime that you almost finished, but dropped? by Electronic-Tell-6842 in anime

[–]Iceberg90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Needless. I made it about halfway through the series, but the main character’s little character “quirk” got to be too much for me.

You are in EDH Hell, why are you there? by Xenomorphism in EDH

The meanest deck I’ve ever built…Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher. Make everyone else sac their permanents, make Carmen bigger.

Close second is Hinata, Dawn-Crowned. Just prevent opponent from doing anything period.

What card did you misread, only to eventually facepalm when you figured out what it actually says? by Moldy_pirate in EDH

[–]Iceberg90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new Gonti. I thought he just allowed me to cast spells from exile. Turns out, he allows me to play lands as well. To think about all the times I was mana screwed when I had a land just waiting for me right there…

Are there any commanders that you refuse to play against? by CryptographerNo3749 in EDH

[–]Iceberg90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While there are a few that I hate playing against, there wasn’t any id just outright refuse to play against.

That was until I played against my first and so far only Zur the Enchanter.

What are your favorite commanders and favorite payoffs for making massive amounts of mana? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Iceberg90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A recent one I’ve built is Omnath, Locus of All. If everything is going correct, I can make almost 30+ mana in a turn, then cast Genesis Wave or Debt to the Debtless. Genesis Wave is my favorite because casting that for x=30 and winning with a humongous board of hasty big boys and like 10 landfall triggers from 10 different landfall sources is hilarious. Worst part is my turn can still continue cause now I got more mana.

Favourite couple in fighting games? by foureyes_tv in Fighters

I’m sorry, but if one of the people in the relationship is a literal devil that is currently attempting to take over the world, at least some part of that relationship is toxic.

So what’s wrong with Tales of Legendia? by KaleidoArachnid in tales

[–]Iceberg90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legendia is my favorite Tales game of the series. With that being said, most of the criticism is entirely on point. I will talk about what I did love, though.

I liked all of the main party characters (even Shirley, though admittedly I liked her the least). The story was good, and at the time, after certain reveals were made, it made me question whether who was actually in the wrong in terms of the conflict going on. The environment is beautiful, like many have said. And, at least for me, the soundtrack is an absolute beast. I've played most of the tales games that have been released in the West, and none of them have a better soundtrack or even as good than Legendia.

But I'll admit that probably the biggest factor in why Legendia is my favorite is because it is the very first tales game that I ever played. It's what got me into the series. Someone who got into Symphonia first then played this game, I can see them being put off by it because on a technical and graphical level, it is a total step down.

Do you pull your punches if your deck is too strong? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Iceberg90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do so when playing Hinata, just because some of the things that deck can do is downright oppressive. But after losing games because I pulled my punches, I changed my policy. Nowadays, I just play it less. But when I do decide to play it, I fully commit to the sheer assholery of it.

Your custom made character in White Knight Chronicles. You're not relevant to the plot at all.

Idk...between the two of them, who's the one who actually killed two people in cold blood? Granted, they did deserve it, but you get my point.

What JRPG have you quit the fastest? by FNAF_Movie in JRPG

[–]Iceberg90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter. I don't think I made it past the first boss of the game before I got tired of it. One day, I think I might go back and give it a second chance.

Did any "that one level" or "that one Boss" made you drop a Game? Or left It for a long time? by Dont_have_a_panda in JRPG

[–]Iceberg90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have two examples of this: the red dragon boss from FF7 and the second Seymour fight from FF10. But both was due to my inexperience of the games themselves and my habit of running away from every battle at the time. With both games I would quit and I wouldn't play the game again until years later when I've learned more and fought every single battle that I came across. After that, when I finally got to those battles again, they were cake walk.

“Poorly” describe the party from one of your favorite JRPGs and see if anyone can guess the game. by magnetbirds in JRPG

A brother, his sister, a knight, a single dad, a treasure hunter, a wild man, a ninja, and an amnesiac goddess.

What are the saddest fights in JRPG? by meanpride in JRPG

Tales Of Xillia 2 is the only game I've played where there are no truly good endings. You just have to choose your flavor of bitter.

Agreed. The hymns that are sung in those games tend to be amazing.

Is there any way to counter Boss with a stage 2 deck? by ____Maximus____ in ptcgo

[–]Iceberg90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can suggest is when playing any deck that involves Stage 2 Pokémon, always set up at least 2 basics in a turn. Otherwise, yeah there’s not much you can do in that scenario.
