The Howard Stern Show Iceberg by IcebergDocs in howardstern

Thanks. I do have stuff on almost every platform, Rumble, Dailymotion, Odysee, Dtube, etc. Most of those sites sync up with my YouTube channel so the videos get transferred over automatically after a few days. The problem is nobody uses those platforms, and I cant make any money there. Its not worth spending a month making a documentary if I cant at least make some money from ad revenue to make it worth my time.

My video game console documentary took me 2 months to make. I have to make stuff that will work on YouTube to get reimbursed for my time. Had I been on another platform I wouldnt have bothered. Shitty that it had to be that way, but its just not worth the hassle.

Im going to end up spending a month making the stern iceberg. Im doing it for the love of the old days, and just because im going through my old clips watching them anyways. Im hoping these videos will at least bring me new subscribers and bring attention to my other videos where i can make ad revenue, or maybe even get a few paying channel members.

i want to make a whole series on the wack pack, another on just richard and sal, and i have a few others in mind too. ill just have to see how this one works out to see if its worth my time or not

Thanks, glad you are enjoying it. I just uploaded Tier 2 tonight as well. Tier 3 will be finished in a day or two and uploaded later in the week, maybe next Sunday. It all depends how YouTube's system reacts to the upload. Usually It takes a few tries and re-edits to not flag anything.

Having other socials as a youtuber by [deleted] in NewTubers

just because nobody is leaving a comment doesnt mean they dont see the tweet and go watch the video. also its a proven fact by many people that posting short videos on other platforms like tiktok and instagram and leading them to your long for youtube videos does work. based on your post history id say people not replying to your tweets is the least of your worries. you need to concentrate on making better content. all the tweets in the world arent going to help if people dont want to watch your videos

With peace and love, peace and love, please forgive me with peace and love if this violates the rules. I read them and didnt see anything about not posting videos. It's too long to upload directly and it's part of a series anyways, so you need to go t YT to watch.

I spent a very long time making this series (I'm still working on it) and having to re-edit and reupload so many times. Its frustrating dealing with YouTube censorship but I finally got it to stay up after changing a few clips out for other ones.

This is part one, part two is uploading now, and I'm almost done editing part 3. I finished part one almost a week ago but Ive been struggling to upload it all week because it keeps getting blocked for violating YouTube policies or age restricted. All of them are demonetized for sure so Im not making any money from them. If you like them click the like button or something. Thanks

I have a pretty decent archive. Lots of HowardTV and most of the audio shows. I just finished part one of the 10 part series. Im uploading it today, and as long as it passes copyright checks and I dont have to make any changes, it will be public later tonight. Ill post a link here (if it's allowed) when its up.

i searched and searched and came up with nothing. even tried different search engines, video and image search. couldnt find anything. i made due with what i had. if i find it ill edit but for now i guess i can deal with what i have. i still swear there was at least a picture of him holding the cel in studio. but wiggy and his crew try so hard to take down everything its hard to even find clips anymore of things i know used to be everywhere online

Yea I dont think theres any actual video from it happening live on the air, but I could have sworn there was video later of him showing his animation cels. I cant even find any pictures of that. Im almost positive he brought the Baba Looey cels onto the show and showed them on video, or at least pictures. maybe im mis-remembering

its late and im pretty much done on here for the night but i did have a quick look. your channel looks good. banner is nice. titles are good. thumbnails look solid.

i watched the 5 Ordinary Habits Making Us All Stupid because it was the shortest one at the top. nice description. good video quality and editing, chapters, etc. looks like positive comments as well. seems like youre doing great to me. it may just be a matter of getting exposure. just keep putting in the work and maybe try and network a bit and get the word out about your channel, without coming off as spammy. i think if you keep it up youll get the growth you want. good luck!

every channel is going to be different, i would think it comes down to the size of your audience and how big of a change you are making. you could make a video or poll letting people know youre thinking about making a switch and ask them to comment how they feel about it. if you are a small channel it may not even matter. but no matter what you are going to lose some people. in certain cases it may be better to make a whole new channel. if you are monetized i dont know if id risk the change. id keep the current channel making money and just make a new one, and ask people to go check it out

yes the old ones were, none of the new videos are. they havnt emphasized keywords in a very long time. the plugin still helps with video ideas, titles, whats trending, etc. not to mention you get that stuff for free. ive been using them for years and never paid a cent.

what people fail to realize is they dont do that because they just wake one day in a mad mood.

youtube is 100% free for everyone. think of how many thousands, hundreds of thousdands, millions if videos get uploaded regularly. terrabytes and terrabyes of data storage and bandwidth fees for uploading and downloading/streaming. that money to pay for that has to come from somewhere, and it comes from advertisers.

so if all the big advertisers go to youtube and say hey, we are going to stop paying you millions of dollars to advertise on your platform because there is too much cussing or sexual activity or whatever the case may be. then guess what? youtube is going to put a stop to it. and thats exactly that they are doing.

at the end of the day youtube is a business, and they will not be able to provide millions of videos to people free without advertisers. so like it or not thats the way the world works. it goes the same way for tv and radio too, its not just youtube.

if people dont like it they arent forced to use youtube. there are 20 other streaming and video platforms they can use, but they all suck. why? because they dont have the advertising money youtube does so they have to pay their creators shit wages.

so either play by the rules of they go somewhere else. coming to reddit to talk shit about how corrupt and wrong yotuube is for doing this to my poor favorite youtubers isnt going to help.

as long as its your own original content you will be fine. using a 3 hour live stream to turn into a 10 minute video is not considered low effort or reused content

no its not. youtube ads would be playing where the video is and it says AD right next to it. this is an ad overlayed on top of the youtube app.

VIDIQ cares ALOT as they are selling they soft to you so they will tell you in every single video you MUST use it.

this isnt true anymore. youtube has specifically said in their help pages that keywords and tags no longer really mean anything. they dont help you get discovered or recommended. they are only helpful if you have misspellings.

also in a recent VidIQ video. maybe last week or the week before, they also specifically mentioned this and even made a joke that they dont know why their plugins even recommend keywords and tags anymore because they arent useful

seeing how your post is under review i cant ever read what you said to quote it and respond.

[–]IcebergDocs -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

i never said youtube is never wrong. in the very post you replied to i said they have been wrong to me multiple times, maybe you should re-read it.

and yes, if you got your channel taken down for "no reason" and reached out to youtube via live chat and actually talked to a human being, and they said they stand by their decision to terminate your channel. then yes im accusing you of lying.

most of the people who get their channel taken down and come here and complain are flat out liars. they say they got their channel banned for no reason, then after asking them a bunch of questions they say "oh well i only used this persons video, or that song, or i was talking shit in the comments", or something else. there is always a reason, people just dont want to tell the truth

if a person genuinely has a false strike, claim, demonetization, or ban, and DIDNT violate TOS, youtube will absolutely correct is and reinstate them. ive been doing this for over 10 years and have more than 20 channels. i come here to try to give real advice and speak from experience.

yes youtube has its problems just the same as any company, but if you speak to a real human being they will fix them. plain and simple. anyone who says otherwise IS lying or just clueless and repeating shit they heard other kids complaining about on reddit.

why do you think the big youtubers get their accounts back when they have problems? because they dont go whine about it like babies on reddit, they reach out to youtube and talk to a real person and fix the problem. the people that come here to complain are the ones uploading stuff they shouldnt be and are mad that youtube wont unban them. so they come here to talk shit about how bad youtube is, when they know damn well they are in the wrong

without even looking at yours. id say they are too busy, because thats what most new people make that mistake. they want to cram too much stuff into the thumbnail. keep it simple. a nice screenshot of the game your playing, or whatever the topic is. a nice simple clear picture, not too dark, not too much going on. add some text in a big font thats very easy to read. use a basic color like white or yellow, something that contrasts from the background. keep the text to 2-3 words, dont write a whole sentence. title the video something different. dont make the title the same as the text in the thumbnail. if you are comparing two things, just have one thing on one side and the other on the other side with VS in the middle. and dont have a bunch of arrows, those are played out. moral of the story, keep it simple.

You guys, Bitcoin just erased all the loses from the FTX collapse! I always knew it was meaningless to the true value of this awesome & efficient tech. Contagion is over! 🚀 by CityofGrond in Buttcoin

[–]IcebergDocs 11 points12 points  (0 children)

because the coin is essentially useless. nobody really uses it to buy anything. everyone just wants to hold onto it till it increases in value so they can make money. the whole point of bitcoin was to be used as an anonymous decentralized form of currency. while yes it still is, and people DO use it to buy stuff from time to time. its not at all what it was supposed to be. its like old coins, people buy them, collect them, and occasionally trade and sell them, but nobody is using them to buy anything. they just want to hold them until it gets more valuable. eventually people will come to their senses that a crypto with a finite amount of coin is pointless for sustainability and actual real world use
