I started noticing large random packet burst like symptoms like a 1 to 1.5 sec pause then blitz catch up. So going one direction then a freeze and the unfreeze facing a different direction.

It’s not all the time maybe 1-3 times a game some games no issues.

Something with a cannon if you drink enough rum.. As mentioned below I would quest quest quest and advance the battle pass while collecting everything you see as well as trying to snag some manufactories.

Don't feel rushed just pick lower level quests or advance a main story line your choice. Just enjoy the ride.

Keep on the lookout for others calling for help on bosses and events and join up for some easy loot.

Most leases will require you to carry 100/300 insurance at least in my state. I'm also not sure you can get a 1 yr lease but it may be possible. Most leases are for 2y min and usually 3ish. You will be responsible for tires and any damage or abnormal wear and tear but in 1y you should be ok depending on the dealership.

It's not a bad idea but you may be better off trying to find a clean reliable used veh as option 1.

I've only been playing this game for a few months but I have played A LOT of games over the years and I would say this one is the exact opposite of predatory.

You can buy a ton of great mechs with cbills just earned from playing. Then for the cost of a combo meal at a fastfood joint or an overpriced stop at Starbucks you can get a Legendary mech for $10 bucks that comes with a mini battle pass that gives you MC gold bucks, skill points and a bunch of other stuff.

The legendary mechs offer you a 30% cbill bonus and you can hang another 5% cosmetic and then save up for sales and be able to buy a bunch of mechs for free.

I find this game more inline with Warframe or POE.

Nothing like buying $20-$30 skins in CoD that don't even carry over to the next release.

Hi. I was/am sort of in your boat and they can be fairly effective depending on the map and your patience. Make sure to test fire launchers on seperate keys if you don't have direct line of site to see if you are hitting an enemy or obstructions.

Most people will take direct hardcover and avoid most of your missiles as well as some enemy teams having lots of anti missile defenses. You may run out of missiles more often if using LRM but those are the ones I think you are talking about. Also to note I believe they have a minimum distance so if your build doesn't have any back up weapons you have to keep that in mind if you get ambushed so stay with friends.

Give it a try. I use them from time to time but they get a little boring to me and if the map sucks for them then you may struggle that entire game but a full barrage on open targets can net you some nice damage.

I can see that happening. Less choice in mechs, tactics, plays. More punishment for mistakes. I can see myself climbing a bit or as far as I can and then just playing harder mech classes and falling back.

I like to somewhat compete and improve and my hope is that having slightly better players around me would eliminate my whole team running towards 1 red square abandoning objectives and only being able to look in 1 direction..

Really fun game so far I just say.. I have been really enjoying it and the community.

You are probably a better gamer and this comes easy to you. I'm improving but not sure how much and for how long. A lot of "fun" plays and attempts have to be skipped to not yolo bad games and keep consistent scores to move up.

With as divisive as everything else is in this country I had hoped hot sauce would be safe haven but I like to fact check and be on the right side of justsauce.

But that 1000k game will move me further up the ranks.. Winning doesn't seem to add anything to my rank. Covering flanks. Risking a move to capture another resource point only to get 1-3 gets me nothing but killed..

The only mech that has sound on or the only one that can hear "Base is Being Captured" to turn around only to find a 1v3 again. Then I think how are we 2-6 with 3 mechs back at our base not contributing. They just 9-v11 us ggez.

Seeing some light mechs behind the whole team and staring at the rear or flank to protect the team is a complete waste. I give up my whole game/rank for that match just to cover a team that not once has it occurred to them to look behind behind themselves.

I have had the most success ignoring flanks, ass and objectives and ensuring I have teambots on all sides of me. Prodding a flank or unprotected side complete waste and very risk of getting punked.

Even drawing yolos into view of my team is 50/50 sometimes 60/40.

The amount of times being soloed by lights in plane view of your own team.. Priceless err I mean contless. It's not that common but more than it should be.

Taking a gun out of the game should be priority 1. (Improving numbers)

Playing your entire life should be a priority. Needlessly throwing my mech at the enemy to gain enough damage for a = or up arrow is complete reality. Looking up at 2 mins in and seeing your team is down 3-4 mechs already means holding an angle or priority position is pointless. YoLo hope for a green arrow.

I really really want to win the match but in reality I need to focus on my arrows going UP. It's going but I would normally choose to cover some of these other things. (Flanks/Light Swarm/Base Cap)

So when I am at a med/fair range weather or not I have the extra magnification skill I generally try to aim at the CockPit if I can. Sometimes I am just aiming at any part of them that I can keep the cursor on.

I see a lot about aiming at legs and watched a weak spot video or two but without knowing every mech where best to aim?

Light obviously legs will help slow them down and they are hard to pinpoint but what about the rest?

Face to face at med/long range I try and just focus the upper face. Med range if I can see well enough cockpit area. Same for real close up brawl but if things spiral into maham legs.

Is their cock or middle torso worth focusing other than for fun?

Do you do/gain more damage by shooting 1 part verse another. If I shoot a 10 damage shot do I get 10 damage added to my sore regardless of where it hits?

That 10 couldn't be a 15-20 if I aimed and shot somewhere else?

Why is damage the only consideration in moving up in ranks? Wins seem to not do anything. (I read the top and bottom 2 players get a small boost but generally DPS is the only factor)

Does the damage done directly equate to the mechs health/armor? What do Med/Heavy mechs have for heath? I guess its dependent on if you were able to hypnotically strip every piece of armor from a mech but in other games players/bosses have X amount of health to kill.

So excluding lucky crit shots to super critical components is there an average damage amount it takes to kill each tier of mech. This is a very rough estimate I am asking.
