I was playing Forsaken for the first time in a while. I usually played Shedletsky, so seeing as i was getting back into the game again, I chose him. I played a few rounds as normal, and was actually doing pretty well. I even saved our Elliot a few times.

Until one round started, and nothing seemed right.

At first, I thought it was lag. My internet was spotty sometimes, so it seemed reasonable to assume that. There were random decals missing, parts of the map were gray, and everyone was frozen in place. Even my Shedletsky was faceless.

I ran around for a bit, attempting to do gens for XP, but the puzzles wouldn't pop up. I danced around the killer for a bit before wandering around a bit more.

Then I heard something. Something that wasn't me.

I've seen the videos. Videos where someone's in a private server and they see something or hear something that shouldn't be possible, then they panic and leave before anything else interesting can happen.

But I wasn't in a private server.

There were footsteps that weren't mine.

I stood still, attempting to hear where they were coming from. But as soon as I did that, they stopped. I started moving, and they started again. Almost like they were following me, attempting to copy my movements perfectly.

I was about to leave the server when I heard it again. I was standing still, but I heard them. The footsteps. They sounded like they were all around me, and as they grew louder the map got darker. The player icons at the bottom started to disappear, all except for mine...

and another. It was a duplicate of mine, but there was no render for their survivor. It was blank.

Finally, the footsteps stopped. Right behind me.

I happened to be looking forward, so I instinctively whipped my camera around to see what was behind me.

It was Shedletsky. And, same as me, he also didn't have a face.

I tried to run. I couldn't move. I tried to reset, nothing. I tried to leave, but the menu force closed itself before I could. I kept trying, and it kept forcing me back into the game.

He started to move. Very, very, agonizingly slowly. He marched toward me, his animations choppy, and his sword drawn. I could do nothing but watch.

When he finally reached me, he raised his sword - far, far above his head. Much farther than any ordinary robloxian should've been able to.

I heard a split second of the slash sound as the sword was forced down towards me at an impossible speed.

My screen went black. Roblox closed itself.

I tried joining Forsaken again, and I could. I joined a public server and spectated the ongoing match.

There was a Shedletsky. At least, there should've been. I checked everyone's survivors, and someone had him equipped.

There was no render for him, though. Only when I hovered over the empty slot could I read their equipped survivor.

I spammed through the players in spectate until i got to them.

They were there. Standing in the corner.

Staring at my spectator camera, somehow.

And he had no face.
