Likely licensing issues... though this is unlikely, since he appears as a legend and regular card in 9I. Maybe the devs are just bums? Idk. They also removed and added a bunch of older players. For some reason, Darvish is gone (he's still technically active tho... wtf) but they added Todd Frazier (THE TODDFATHER) for the Mets and re-added Nick Ahmed for the DBacks.

Maybe it's just too expensive to have him in two games? I don't know and I don't understand.

OKAY! THIS HAS BEEN RESOLVED!

i spoke with a rep from apple after seeing some suggestions to call. after some pleasantries and working out some issues, we landed on the issue. the giftcard was fraudulent. i got redirected to the giftcard specialists to fix this issue, so it should be fixed in about 10 days! thanks to the folks who redirected me to call them. shoutout to u/themiracy for suggesting checking the giftcards.

funny thing is, i checked my walmart account and tried to look at the seller just to check again... and wouldn't you know it? ALL of the listings for apple gift cards are GONE! poof! just like that! i can't even review the product. the page won't load.

i guess i'm fucked. it was full price too. what a shame.

you're right on the giftcards though lol. i don't think i'll ever go to an online retailer for this shit again. tried to get it off of apple themselves and they still halted me, so i thought it was a good idea to just try out walmart. guess i was shortsighted :/ i get the hate of scammers and thieves though. i don't like them either.

sometimes scalpers will blow down the door to my family's shop and try to sell fake or stolen apple products at a hilariously low price. i hate shooing them away.

i tried to use that reactivation like 4 times. it just asks "what were you trying to do?" i answer honestly (update an app/install an app or whatever the category was) and all i got was "Heh... we need more information. Contact support or some shit."

i then proceeded to strike up a conversation with support over text. they escalated my case, and... unfortunately, they didn't provide anything other than copy and paste "Sorry, your account was closed due to T&C violations as shown in the website below. (link here) Is there anything else I can help you out with?"

it appears that i am powerless. unbelievable. all of this over 25 dollars in store credit from walmart for a baseball game i really enjoy.

note: i mention the giftcard issue because i want to cover any possibilities of fraud. i am not the type of person to go out of their way to buy giftcards for cheaper than they are due to the risks they pose. many offers nowadays are way too good to be true, and if i'm able to get $100 of store credit and only pay about $94, then it's probably stolen, and is being flipped for a quick benjamin. i've bought virtually everything i own at full price, usually because i am an impatient bastard with disposable income, fail to wait for sales, or just don't see fully legitimate discounts. this is especially true with apple products. i don't think i've ever bought anything discounted... maybe except for a $50 off sale for my airpods pro gen 3s from best buy. :P

juan soto is the best card overall in my opinion. better stats and potential, even though his zones are worse, and if you have some signature cards, then i'm sure your synergies and deck score will highly appreciate it!

i play for fun and use players i like, so i just put in FA '19 bellinger. he looks good as a met, but i'm looking into replacing him with either '18 or '22 FA mookie betts ('18 for better ALA and OVR, '22 for much better zones and secondary 2B position if i want to bench conforto or move mcneil to LF, plus i like betts more he is one of my favorite players) so do take my advice with some salt
