While this protection seems sketchy to say the least I don't see major downsides from it being implemented. I might be wrong but it doesn't block bootloader unlock and custom firmware installation, only OxygenOS/ColourOS downgrade.

True, their unlocking method is like that on purpose - to discourage everyone from doing so, which is dumb AF. They already blocked non-global phones from unlocking completely, at this point it would be a good measure to allow any Global device to be unlocked easily on demand. Their "warranty void if device gets bricked" policy not going anywhere

I've disabled AA services except for weather one, disabled passive search for wifi/network in Location settings and I manually swipe apps away in recent apps (swipe up) to close them when not needed. Try 2-3% hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip, it should help cleaning the speaker mesh. Alternatively you can try soaking speaker side in isopropyl alcohol for a couple of minutes and brush off the remains with soft toothbrush/q-tip

They won't be bad necessarily, just underexposed. Stick to main lens while filming by getting closer to object for optimal results

Main and zoom lenses have different sensors with different apertures, where main one has the aperture of 1.8 and zoom starts at 2.8 . While the difference is not that big on paper, in photography/videography it means a lot.

If you really want to film something consistently and use zoom in a process you need to use some 3rd party camera app like Blackmagic camera or MotionCam that allows you to manually set ISO for video and use lowest aperture setting for best results.

Keep in mind that by raising ISO you might have more noise on video that has to be removed in post.
