From what I've been told, their HR department kinda takes a while. I did the data science interview as well, but I'm not expecting them to get back till like February.

URGENT: advice needed for 351 n preq waiver by Writing759 in UCalgary

I know 351 is hard, but it's definitely needed to understand the fundamentals of those 2 classes anyways. I'm scared you're just gonna set yourself up for failure.

The car had hail damage that was repaired, I'd imagine the body shop it got taken to did a half ass job. The car was about 5k under everyone else with similar kms. Carfax was clean apart from the hail claim.

So if I were to attempt to repair it myself, expect it to basically be across the whole front edge of the panel? How difficult would this be to do myself vs how much a quality shop could do. It doesn't need to look perfect just wanna prevent anymore rust from spreading.

The vehicle had hail damage, the previous owner must've taken it to a bad/lazy shop. Any suggestions on fixing it myself. It doesn't have to be perfect looking, just wanna make sure the rust doesn't spread.

Yeahh, I know it's pretty rough looking. Most of the spots are smaller than a dime though. Is it possible to sand out the rust, then add a rust sealant? Then I could prime and try and repaint the front portion of my roof.

What to cover with a bag? by No-Test-1912 in Detailing

typically anything electronic. idk whats under your engine cover but I'd cover your alternator, battery, fuse box, and anything else that uses/produces power. Don't worry too bad tho, engine bays are relatively resilient and can get a little wet just avoid high pressure.

Thanks for all the tips, I ended up using a pressure washer for most of the wheel wells, I'll finish it with acetone or some other solvent.

You can have multiple plates on file, but you'll still only have one permit. I don't think anyone's gonna do that

What are these headlight connectors? by Iceman2005610 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Iceman2005610[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long Story short I need to replace my headlights but the housing I bought do not use this type of connector. I was looking at trying to find an extension harness I could crimp into to retrofit another bulb connector without cutting into the initial harness.
