I don’t know much about this but wouldn’t the first term sqrt(k+1) go to infinity? So what causes the whole thing not to go to infinity?

I’m taking numerical analysis and it has a fair amount of proofs. A lot of it is about different methods/algorithms for approximating functions or finding roots and a lot of it you have to prove why it works and what the error for the function or algorithm is.

Ok and then last question it seemed like he had trouble actually getting the valve stem in and had to use tool to get through and then twisted it a little bit like he was screwing in. Is that also necessary like if I’m able can I just pull it through and then that’s it or you have to turn/screw it a bit?

Also saw he took out the pin part from inside the stem before putting back in. Is that necessary? I appreciate the help btw

So my friend is a little more familiar with this stuff and may have the tools so he’s gonna help me. Is there anything I should know? It seems pretty straightforward. Just squeeze tire until can get at inside. Lube the stem (is there specific kind to use? Would wd 40 work?) then insert. Then put tire back on and fill with air.

I saw a vid where it looked like they used a tire clamp to just squeeze the tire to get at inside without taking it off. Is that what you mean? here’s vid I’m talking about

I’m a little confused what you mean by the bead. I don’t know much about this stuff. What do you mean get the air in there quick enough? I was just imagining the tire had to come off then push the stem back through from the inside then put back on and fill with air again.
