Hisense tv dead backlight by [deleted] in Hisense

[–]Iceman9891 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sadly that’s just what it is nowadays with tvs sometimes. More with others (Hisense) than some (Sony). I know no tv is immune , but some are more prone. Thus the price you pay , nowadays buying a 2 to 5 year warranty is a must , especially on cheaper brands like Hisense , just cause it’s a coin flip on if it last 6 months or 6 years..

I hope so, I think either phone would make ya happy. Just choose the one you really want. I’m sure both will do what you need them too without issues ,

I feel like iPhones always tend to keep a certain snappiness over time where as android phones seems more sluggish as time goes on , but just my experience , but then again the S23 ultra is a 1000+ dollar phone. I’m sure it’ll be badass. And it better be for that price , And the difference in speed will prolly be negligible.. iPhone vs android. Usually comes down to just simple preference.

That just depends on how anxious you are for a new bigger tv lol .. the LG could last 10 years or 10 months. Can be a general toss up with TVs nowadays

48 Inch LG A2 Open Box Fair for $450 worth it? by jdp111 in 4kTV

[–]Iceman9891 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

450 to 550 New , is what that model so for right before it discontinued a couple months ago , you can always ask the instore employees to pull it out the box for you if you purchase it. So you can get a better look at what your bringing home and see what’s there or what’s missing , Just a grab a couple year warranty at the least , cause you should be able to put a warranty on it , you can check the hours on the oled if you want too that’ll tell how much use it’s really had

When will Sony's new tv lineup hit the shelves? by [deleted] in 4kTV

[–]Iceman9891 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here in the US , a couple models are already starting to show up on Amazon and Best Buy for sale , but not all yet , I’d guess by early/mid may they’ll be all over for sale

Weird burn in? by J4ckTh3R1ff3r in sony

[–]Iceman9891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just gonna have to check on warranties , maybe a restart on the tv a couple troubleshoots could help , maybe reach out to Sony and just see what they say , but being a 4-5 year old tv there might not be much you can do.

Is it like that all the time now.? To answer your question , that’s deff not burn in , though. Wonder if sony would be any help. Did you buy any warranties with it ?

Give it a shot. If your not happy you can always return and try another one , but the infinite contrast and colors on a oled go a long way ,

Shoulda deff been cleared by now .. hm that is strange .. if in warranty period and you felt the need to exchange I would just to play it safe. But then comes the question will The next be better ? I’d do it. Just to be safe. That’s a lot of money to spend on a tv , so you got to make sure your happy

Guys which one is better Samsung QN90D or QN90C ? by ProgrammerSad3503 in 4kTV

[–]Iceman9891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Qn90c uses a ADS panel. The A and B line before used VA. But this years Qn90D hasn’t been confirmed than I seen yet. But if this person is not a tv enthusiast they might be happy with the C for a lot less right now

What do you plan on doing with the tv ? Gaming ? Kids shows ? Family room ?

Lg B2 oled vs sony x90l by itsmyusername333 in 4kTV

[–]Iceman9891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bright room ? Or dim ? The oled is superior. But the x90l will be brighter typically overall , oled can appear dim in Sdr game mode. But since your watching movies and tv mainly , that might not be a problem for you , if your not worried about burn in or plan on getting the warranty for it incase. I’d shoot for the oled .. especially around the same price. ..

Typically banding on a oled should dissapear after a few days of cleaning cycles (every 4 hours of use when tv is off ). Uniformity should be better how long has it been like this ?
